UPDATE - September 2, 2007
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One American
Dreamer is in the very beginning stages of being made into a movie!
I've just completed the writing of a screenplay based on the entire
book.
Very early stages, so there's nothing to report in terms of progress
yet,
but I'll put news here about this when I have any.
I've
made a couple of online photo albums
for Don, through Webshots.
This link will lead to the present day
'On
Golden Pond' album.
This album reaches into the past,
'Don
Tietz - A Visual History'
And this new album is full of Spring
pictures at The Wildhaven, Don's Home
'Spring
at the Wildhaven' Album
There are many photos within the pages
of One American Dreamer.
I
wrote this little poem for Don a while ago,
and my friend Mary Lou Mulloy
made it into this fun page for us:
On a very
sad personal
note in Don's present day life,
his younger brother Gene has died of
an
inoperable and incurable brain tumor.
Gene left this Earth at 10:20PM, April 8,
2005.
I'm very sorry for your loss, Don.
I've made this page
Don and Gene Tietz
Children are our future, and Don has four beautiful
Grandchildren.
Miss Baylee, the oldest, is studying Poetry right now,
and she prompted me to begin a Children's Poetry Section.
This poem is the first, for the Grandchildren - Don's, my own, and
everyone's.
