UNTITLED

Confusion is such a funny state

It can be both good and bad

You’re torn between two different things

Torn in two different directions

You know what direction you want to go

But you just can’t do that

Two guys, both very nice

One who never called

One who you just met

One is your type

And the other not

He whom is your type

Makes you laugh

He makes you tingle with just a look

And a touch…

Well, fireworks inside

He kissed and you kissed back

You can still feel his lips on yours

And you can taste them there too

Just thinking about him makes you feel alive

Like you’re not the same old person

The goody-two-shoes everyone knows

You try to change your thoughts

But you can only see him

Trying to sleep is a waste

Your dreams are now filled with him

The taste of his mouth

The feel of his lips against yours

His body touching yours

His hands caressing you

Everything happening so fast you don’t know anything

You don’t know ho to react

You feel the impulse to whisper his name

You want to touch him

You want to taste his body

You want him to hold you in his arms

You just plain want him

Your mind is racing

You’re body’s reacting

You don’t know what to do

You don’t know what to say

Then all of a sudden

You just say no

You sit and wonder if you did the right thing

You regret saying it

But it’s too late

You feel guilty

Like you did something wrong

You just sit and hope and pray he’s not mad

Getting home you feel guiltier

You normally would tell your mom

But you can’t, she trusts you

You need someone to talk too

You don’t know what to do

Then you realize something

Confusion isn’t the word or state

Of your mind, body, and soul

You’re just crazy for saying no
