He’s with two of his friends from school
One is an exchange student
The other is a local
He introduces you to his friends
You get along well…in fact…very well
The exchange student is cute
And he has an accent
But…the local boy intrigues you
He is different
He is very funny
He makes you laugh
He makes you smile
He gives you a back rub
You return the favor
He is cute in his own way
Physical appearance doesn’t matter
He is great on the inside
It’s all very confusing
You flirt with each other
You have a great conversation
You have a lot in common
Especially the same taste in music
But yet…there is something else
You just met him…but…yet
You think you might like him
There is one problem
What about that other guy
The one in the back of your mind
You know…you’re army guy
You don’t know what to think
Your mind is racing too fast
It’s racing at a hundred miles an hour
You like that feeling………
You tell yourself it will all work out
Right now…you will take what you now have
This great person that has been handed to you
