General Rules
-+- Powerplaying will not be accepted.
-+- Swearing will not be accepted at all.
-+- Any inappropriate material will not be accepted. As far as physical romance--keep it PG please.
-+- This game is based on a fictional tropical realm. The ideal image is very loosely based on my interpretation of the town called Calimekka from Holly Lisle's Secret Texts trilogy mingled with the seaside village in the PS2 game Dark Cloud. If you've read it, you may have a similar view of what I am trying to accomplish with this rpg.
-+- Please keep ALL HTML inside posts. None in the subject. Please also remember to close all tags.
-+- For realistic purposes, your character can for no reason be in two places at once. Keep this in mind please as it is annoying to many rpers.

Life
-+- One must keep in mind that this world is purely fictional and nonexistant, based on nothing that ever was real and probably never will be real. Pretty much anything goes as far as styles, customs, and culture. The only thing I ask is that there is a sort of midieval feel to it. (I.E. no guns, stereo's, phones, televisions) There is some magic involved--but it is rare...Let me know in your joining post if you are interested in attaining magic and I will contact you on the matter. Be creative!!

-+- There are different spectrums of wealth and one must realistically show this and yes, sometimes one may stumble upon wealth quite accidentally...

-+- Ahnpajo is a society ruled by a nonexistant government much like a monarchy. There is a ruling couple, however, they do not rule for life. The ruling female chooses her successor. It will most likely not be her offspring. The royal court--for they are still royalty--consists of a royal counselor, military advisor, royal messenger, royal recorder, royal representative, and various other employees that aren't as relevant. Royalty rules until they are forty because then the public thinks of them as too old to know what is good for Ahnpajo--almost like wolves in a very loose respect.

Guards- Royalty has many footsoldiers that patrol the districts and try to enforce the laws of Ahnpajo. There are also undercover guards who walk amongst the districts as one of the people to keep them safe.

Jobs- Merchants mainly hold jobs in the Merchant District of Ahnpajo. Some parts of the district are more well off than others and there are always thieves and such. As a shop keeper one is responsible for their own goods and if something happens, then, and only if the person is caught, can they be taken to The Centre of Punishment.

Centre of Punishment- This is a place in the center of the district where evildoers and those convicted of committing crimes are dealt with. Punishments are according to the list set on the Additional information page.

Shops- There are two types of shops in the district. Within the district there are blocks lined with stalls and other blocks with larger more solid shops in them. Some of the most wealthy own the blocks of stalls and rent them out to prospering merchants. If you would either (a) like to own a block, or (b) like to become a shopkeeper, post a message on the OOC board.

Homes- The residential district is very large and consists of many different tiers. Upon the tiers are various types of homes that are built by individuals and/or their families. There are other, much larger villas and homes near the jungles, over the ocean, and near the mountains. Usually only those areas are purchased by the wealthy or are inherited...(I have my ways of doing this so that wealth is distributed fairly...I don't play favorites)

The Jungle- The jungle is a veritable tropical utopia. It is utterly beautiful and equally dangerous. There are many foreign animals within and many foreign plants as well. Some people will work in the jungles, harvesting some of those plants and some of those animals as well. The jungle Demands the utmost respect from all who enter, or it will show its dominance in fatal ways. If you are interested in being a distributor or traper let the main people in the jungle markets know...

The Docks- Those who traverse by sea and work for the ocean remain here. The Docks house both those who embrace the sea, and those that revere it. Be sure to be wary around there, it is surely no place for the careless.

The Mountains- The mountains house the sorcerors and protectors of Ahnpajo. Most citizens fear these people and therefore rarely traverse up the rocky crags to the stone villas. They nearly emanate with power and magic. Only those privileged live here. Those that can make it to the top without meeting an impossible obstacle may have the opportunity to inherit the secrets of Ahnpajo. This is rare and again, I have my ways.

The Vineyards-One of the best products of Ahnpajo is its wine. There are nearly three vineyards each specializing in a different wine. White wine, red wine, and hybrid (a special blend by an equally 'special' old man.)

Extra-You may not join with magic. Don't try. Be sure to read through the rules thoroughly. It is a bad practice to skim through rules as many important things are missed. I will be able to tell if rules haven't been followed. Also, be sure to check out the information page for further information regarding the site--it will be mighty helpful.

Don't ruin it for others and please have fun!!! Also, try to stay realistic..Its kinda important..hehe. As for me? I am almost always in a good mood. Thank you!!!
