Currency- -+- The standard currency and most common piece seen is the Roual. Then comes silver and then finally gold. Conversion goes as follows: 1 gold=10 silvers 1 silver=20 Roual Keep in mind that rare gems are also fair trading objects and depending on the rarity, you can buy much with them. For example: 5 Tanzanite= 1 Roual ((They are relatively common in the mines)) 1 Diamond=1 Roual 1 Ruby=10 Roual ((therefore 2 rubies=1 silver)) 1 Pearl= 1 silver 1 Onyx= 2 silver ((therefore 5 onyx=1 gold)) 1 Emerald= 1 Gold ((Extremely rare)) 1 Sapphire=5 Gold ((Most rare gem in the land)) Life- -+- For marriages, you must hire a local religious leader for it to be official. ((Please keep in mind that this game is not meant to offend any of varying religions and this is purely based on fiction--as stated in the rules...It's a game and nothing more...)) -+- According to the laws of Ahnpajo, each married couple is allowed two children--much according to the philosopher who stated such about children were required only to replace the parents and carry on the genes of the family line. If you end up with more, there may be consequences if you are caught... So if you're willing to take the risk--be my guest--it could make for an interesting plot line no? :) -+- In order to have a child, the mother must visit the village midwife. The expectant mother must inform the potential father of her visit. Exceptions can occur depending on the situations. A dice will be rolled to resemble fate. 1, 3, 5 will be for female and 2, 4, 6 will be for male. Multiple births are extremely rare and somewhat feared by the public. -+- There will be taxes and the like--depending on how the collector is played will decide how high they are. Taxes are generally higher for the wealthy if the collector is of good moral standing. If not, plots can become interesting--and things like that will happen. Be warned. For such reasons--unlike many other roles--I will be the permanent tax collector(s) player... -+- Punishment is a form of entertainment for some. Each crime deserves a punishment according to the degree of what was committed. Outlined below are basic punishments. There are other crimes--these are the most common. ((Yes some are grim--that's life...)) -=-+-=- For petty theft ((from a merchants stall))- depending upon what was stolen and how much- the convicted can either lose a limb ((whether it be a finger or a hand)) or a T-branding on the palm of their hand. -=-+-=- Blasphemy or attempt to overthrow the Royal leaders is instant death by the "stake." The stake is a pointed piece of wood on the earth, approximately 10 inches thick and extremely sharp at the tip. The guilty party is raised on a pulley to approximately 5 feet above the stake. The guilty is held in place long enough for the executioner to tie the rope from the pulling horse to a hook. The executioner than severs the line and the guilty falls upon the stake--allowed to bleed to death. It is one of the most feared punishments--and appropriately so. -=-+-=- For treason the degrees of punishment range from a sentence in a dungeon cell to being drawn an quartered in the Centre. -=-+-=- For other crimes as well, punishments vary. For being an unofficial magic-user ((for example)) they will be burned. Such other punishments range from dungeon sentencing to public torture sessions. It can get ugly... -+- Religion- those who seek religion find it in the jungle temple.
