I did not make this indexed site about Islam because I have a hatred for the Muslims. Very much
the opposite - I love the Muslims and those that are grounded in the Islamic doctrine. I have a
fervent desire to see them "come" to God and His true love. I would not have spent many,
many painstaking hours giving of my life and energy to the cause of these lost souls if I had
not first purposed my pure motives for it - that being true love.
One of the first things that attracted me to the harvest of Muslims into the true kingdom of God
was that of their zeal for some sort of god. I'd always see their women in thick wardrobes walking in the
blazing heat down the streets of my hometown becuase they thought this was God's will for them.
I heard about the consistent loyalty to pray 5 times a day despite embarassment of getting on the floor.
Even the guilt of killing someone didn't weigh one of these down when believing it was for "the
greater cause."
I do not agree with the aforementioned works to being accepted by God the Father. However,
I commemorate the dedication of the hearts of those that do these. I thought that these people truly were
seeking for the truth. I thought that they truly wanted to do God's will and follow His way.
And if the truth is what they were looking for, then they would surely find it, for God rewards those
and reveals Himself to those that are truly looking for Him.
However, as I meet and converse with more and more Muslims, and study more of why they do the
rituals they do, I understand that many of them are NOT truly seeking God and that many of
them dont' really want the truth (though many are, and do). I now see that there are many
worldly advantages of following Islam in many certain parts of the world, and many grave
consequences of not submitting to Islamic belief in these sames parts - being a heavy influence on one's religion. The Koran promises
various sensual rewards in Paradise to those that follow "Allah and His Prophet," revealing yet
another angle why many might embrace Islam. In that same line of thought, I have heard many hardcore Muslims say
that no matter what might happen - even if truth abounds to the end where Islam is shown to be false in its
foundations - they would never forsake Islam, for they were born with it and will die with it. -NOT
because they have historical or confirmed revelation, but because that is what they believe they have
to stay to be true to their culture, parents, and honor.
Whether God called me to this place of evangelism or whether I came by my self-desire (which
God would have imputed into me anyways) to seek this type of "lost sheep going astray," I have
been priveledged to get to know some Muslims personally already, and have done a lot of research so far,
that have both helped give me a good starter-view on this topic. Hopefully what I have shared
here will be a help to you - if a Muslim, then to check what foundation you're standing your eternity upon
and to give you the curiosity to accept the Bible's Only path, that of Jesus Christ - and if a Christian, to
give you accurate and strategic information for winning the Muslims to Christ, with a little zest
to boost your motivation.
