Snowy Mountain Holt is a brand new Holt, hatched by me, Johanna. I’ve always connected with Go-Backs and Elk-Riders more than any other Holt so I decided to make my own. Of course we are always improving the site and your thoughts and ideas are super important to me. Help me help the Holt and make it a HUGE one!
Anyway about the Holt, the tribe was made of wanderers of other tribes long ago but now wanderers are rare. They live hidden in the side of Great Mountain with their Lodge built right into the side. The Lodge is large and roomy. Branching off are little rooms used as dens, storage, and hiding places for Pups, aka the children.
The seasons are like any other frozen climate. Bitter Cold is winter, there is a lot of snow on the ground at this time and there are often blinding snowstorms. Frost Thaw is like spring, the frost and ice begin to thaw slowly but the snow stays strong but not as much. Often flurries and hailstorms happen. Frozen Green is summer; there are patches of grass and plants sticking through the snow. There are thunderstorms and light rain sometimes. Finally there is Warm Ice, known as autumn to us. There are snow flurries and hailstorms.
Trolls, deadly creatures that hate the elves for some unknown reason. Recently they have attacked and killed many of the elves, including Chief Ture, leaving his daughter Marya in control.
