Ariel was out in the park, leaning against a willow tree, watching the mother duck and her several ducklings swim around the edges. After a few minutes of watching the family, she began thinking of her own family. The only blood relative she had was Darien, her twin brother, which she had found, thanks to her trusting her visions. But that was it. Her parents were killed in a car accident that she didn’t remember. She didn’t realize that she had started crying until a vine crawled up her side and into her hands.
She smiled softly, caressing the plant with gentle fingers. She whispered softly to it, “Thank you my friend. You all always know when I need you, ne.” She glanced up at the sky, watching it darkened before it began to rain. She stood, getting wet with the cold drops of water, mentally telling her vine that she’d see it again later. After making sure that no one was around, she used her powers and disappeared from the park.

Duo got on his motorcycle after getting off of work, watching as the rain clouds began to form over the area where he, Heero, Angel and Ariel lived. He had a kind of serious, yet saddened look on his face. He glanced over at his best friend and spoke softly. “Hey Heero. Go on ahead. I’ll see you and the others back at the apartment later.” His violet eyes flickered with slight concern.
Heero looked over at Duo, reading into the otherwise cheerful face. When he couldn’t determine what caused the change, he asked him, “Is everything okay, Duo?” He quirked an eyebrow; his Prussian blue eyes questioned Duo.
The violet-eyed braided man gave him a small smile despite the solemnity of his face. “I’m just gonna go search for Ariel.” His eyes softened as her name passed over his lips.
The Wing Zero pilot nodded, noticing the change. “You know where might be?”
Duo’s eyes flickered again in slight concentration. “I think I have an idea.” He spoke quietly. He knew better than to let on the exact location of the princess’ whereabouts. He knew it would arise several questions; questions that they didn’t need answers for. It wasn’t necessary for them to know that he had access to Ariel’s kingdom at the center of the Earth.
Heero sighed inwardly, knowing Duo would not tell him any information. “Hn.” He raised his eyebrows at Duo’s sudden grin. He sighed loudly. “Fine. Stay out of trouble…” He warned, “Both of you.”
The braided man gave Heero a look. “Since when is comforting the one you love trouble?” He looked up at the sky. “Better get home before it starts pouring hard. I’ll see you later Heero.” Duo put on his helmet and revved up his bike before stepping on the gas pedal and sped off in the opposite direction as Heero.

Ariel appeared by her waterfall at the center of the Earth. It was her favorite place to relax and just let herself be. She carefully made her way by the pool it created before it separated into several streams. She crouched down and touched the cool water with her fingers, smiling as she felt herself already begin to relax. She contemplated about going for a swim. It would be one way to forget about all the stresses in her life: work, the war, the attacks, the youma, being a princess. Everything.
She walked over to a nearby willow tree, smiling as she tangled her fingers gently in the long branches. After a moment, she slipped off her black sandals, placing them next to the trunk. She pulled down the zipper on the back of her black cotton mini-skirt and slipped it off, folding it in half and placing it next to her shoes. She pulled off her red baby t-shirt and set it with the skirt and shoes.
Not wanting to go in just yet, she walked back over to the water, sitting at the edge and letting her long legs slide into the water up to her knees. She leaned back on outstretched arms, closing her eyes for a few moments.
A feeling flickered in her senses causing her to smile. She opened her eyes and stood up, letting the drops of water slowly trail down her legs.

Duo used the silver key that Ariel had given him to get to the center of the Earth. He knew exactly where his girlfriend was and he knew that she was definitely trying to relax. He smiled as he steadily made his way over to the waterfall. He stopped behind a row of willow trees, his breath catching at the sight he saw.
He watched as Ariel reached behind her back and unhooked her red bra, sliding it down her arms and dropping it to the ground. His eyes darkened with love and desire as they followed her fingers down to her hips, where she hooked them on her underwear and slid the black material down her legs to the ground.
His lips parted slightly as he watched her slowly stand back up, freeing her long dark brown-black hair from its bun and let the silk cascade down to just above her shapely behind. He found himself leaning against the tree, feeling his muscular legs weaken due to the fact that his groin area was becoming very aroused.
His violet eyes glazed over as they watched her naked body swayed as she took graceful steps and climbed up on a large rock beside the pool. He unconsciously started thinking, knowing very well that she would pick up on his presence even more. Yet, he was sure that she was already very aware that he was there, as well as the fact that she had a created a reaction in his body that was started to drive him crazy.
His mind pictured Ariel walking up from out of the water. Her wet body making its way over to him, grabbing him and kissing him passionately before the two collapsed on the ground, unable to keep their hands off of each other. Their bodies would soon become one and they would reach their destination in the heavens together.
Duo snapped back into reality when he heard a small splash. He blinked his eyes a couple of times, focusing on the rock where Ariel had been standing on, only to find that his princess was no longer there. He placed both hands on the tree, steadying himself once again, trying desperately to calm the reaction that both she and the fantasy of her had intensified.
One he thought that he was okay, he moved away from the tree and got closer to the water. He looked up to see the cascade of water fall steadily into the pool. It was indeed breathtaking. He smiled, realizing that its beauty and its power had the ability to relax anyone that came in contact with it.
He turned his eyes back down, trying to search for his beloved, who had not resurfaced since the splash. A slight flicker of worry spread through his senses but it was immediately forgotten when he let out an audible gasp at the sight that caught his vision.
Ariel was standing hip-deep under the waterfall, letting the downpour fall all over her, molding her hair to her already slick and wet body. She trailed her hands down the curves on the sides of her body. The movements she made and the lovely vision he saw made his desire heighten greatly.
He was beginning to think that he was dreaming when he turned his violet gaze up to look in the intense, loving, desire-filled eyes of his girlfriend. They stared into each other’s eyes for what seemed like eternity, the water gently falling down and around her body. She smiled softly at him as her face flushed with desire.
That was what made Duo lose his control. He kicked off his shoes and socks as he unbuckled his belt and unbuttoned his pants, pushing them down along with his black silk boxers. He then loosened the tie around his neck and fingered through the buttons of his shirt, taking it off and dropping it and the tie on the ground, forgotten. Without a moment’s hesitation, he dove silently into the cool clear water after undoing his braid and letting his long chestnut locks flow out behind him.
Ariel was too mesmerized by the sight of Duo undressing and letting his hair loose that it took her a moment to realize that he had appeared in front of her, standing thigh-deep in the water under the cascade. She looked up at his handsome face, losing herself in his violet eyes. Before she had a chance to even think of speaking, he bent down slightly to claim her lips with his own, wrapping his arms possessively around her back and molding their bodies as close together as possible.
Duo moaned into their kiss when his girlfriend ran her fingers up and tangled them in his wet hair, pulling him closer. He slowly pulled away from the kiss to look down at her, his violet eyes sparkled with love and desire. His breathing was ragged from the intensity of the kiss but it was immediately stopped when she slowly opened her eyes through the water for a brief moment to look at him before she closed them once again and dropped her head back, letting the streams of water flow down her vulnerable neck. "Vixen," he muttered before he leaned forward and spread kisses all over her exposed lightly tanned skin.
Ariel moaned loudly at Duo's kisses. Lifting her head back up, she pulled his face back up to meet hers and kissed him passionately. Lowering her hands from his head, she trailed her fingers lightly down his back and wrapped them around his waist, very slowly leading him into the waterfall.
A small cave was behind the cascade of water. The water was about knee-deep to Duo. He slowly pulled away from the kiss, blinking his eyes seeing the cave have a rather homely appearance. He focused his gaze back on his princess when she giggled lightly. "No wonder you love this place. You really can hide from everyone in the world and not have a care, huh?" His violet eyes sparkled mischievously as a dark smirk crossed his face. "Well, almost everyone. I'll ALWAYS be able to find you. No matter how hard you try to hide."
A smile appeared on her face as she lifted her hand to cup his chin, steadying his eyes to focus on her. "Du...I'll NEVER want to hide from you." She blushed lightly. "It's kinda romantic having my Prince Charming come after me."
Duo's smirk turned into a loving smile; his eyes softened and filled with love. "Babe...I'll always go after you. I need you. I can't live without you." He pulled her closer, caressing her face with the backs of his fingers on one hand and holding the other gently at the small of her back, tangled with her hair. "I don't want to be alone anymore either. I found exactly what I need in my life...and it's right here in my arms now." His voice had lowered to a whisper, only loud enough for her to hear.
Ariel's breath caught at his words as tears formed in her soft brown eyes. "Oh Duo..." She gave him a small smile. "I don't want you to be alone. I need you just as much and I will definitely die without you with me." Her words were soft but full of emotion. "I love you Duo Maxwell. I don't want anyone or anything else but you. You give me something to live for. When there are times that I just want to give up from the fight, I think of you and it gives me the strength I need to continue on. I will fight day in and day out as long as I have you and your love."
He smiled down at her, his violet eyes warm and sparkling with complete love and devotion. "You always have my love Ariel," he whispered to her before claiming her lips again in an intense, yet sweet kiss.
She smiled at the embrace and turned around when she felt the back of her knees on the edges of the water. She slowly pushed him back onto the soft green grass that was growing there, letting him shift to his knees and moving back a few feet away from the water. Ariel moaned when he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her down on top of him, deepening the kiss. After a few seconds, she found herself being rolled over and flat on her back.
Duo pulled away from the kiss, breathless. He gave her a sexy wink before kissing her swollen lips lightly and then trailing his lips down to her neck, biting her gently when he reached the spot at the base of her neck that made her moan. Loving her reactions, he trailed his tongue further down her body, reaching her breasts as he settled between her legs. He never removed his eyes from her face as he claimed one with his mouth and caressed the other with his free hand.
Ariel moaned at his caresses, tangling her hands once again gently in his long wet hair, causing him to moan and then growl at her playfully, nipping lightly on her nipple before claiming the other with his mouth. She tried to steady her breathing; her head was already dizzy from all the feelings he was giving her.
He felt himself harden even more when he noticed her trying to keep her control. He abandoned her breasts and slowly trailed his tongue down to her navel. He placed a gentle kiss before nipping at it and dropping his tongue inside, stroking her gently. He watched her the entire time. Her eyes were closed and her lips were parted, breathing heavily. In an instant, his face was hovering just above her hidden treasure.
Grinning when she let out a gasp, sensing his location, Duo whispered, "mine," before he buried his face between her legs, inhaling her intoxicating scent as his tongue went about doing its duties of trying to bring her a bit closer to the heavens. He slowly trailed his fingers up and down her body before slipping a finger inside of her, stroking her deeply in sync with his tongue. He had already gotten several moans and whimpers from his princess; all of this helping build up on his already-there desire.
Satisfied enough with her reactions, Duo stopped his ministrations and before she had a chance to whimper, he moved up her body and slid himself deeply inside of her. He hissed his pleasure through his teeth at the feel of her tightness around him, moaning more when she gasped lightly at the sudden intrusion and wrapped her legs around his, pressing his body closer to hers. He managed to speak in a low, very husky whisper, "Being just like this is part of the reason I live for your love." He began to move inside of her slowly, trying to keep himself in control.
Ariel moaned at his movements. She pulled his head down and kissed him, deepening it slowly, moaning more when his tongue slid into her own mouth and they each explored the heated caverns once again. She slid her legs up to wrap more around him, each moaning as the movement drove him deeper inside.
Duo pulled away from her to rest his forehead on hers, his eyes closed as he tried to steady his deep breathing, trying to keep his movements slow and controlled. That idea was tossed out the door when she moaned out his name in a soft, pleading whisper. He smirked darkly as he lifted his head up enough, opening his eyes to look deeply into hers. He bent down and kissed her hard as he sped up his thrusts, alternating from long and deep to short and sharp thrusts. Every-so-often he would grind himself against her.
She cried out in pleasure as he changed his patterns. She felt herself getting more and more dizzy. The feelings that only he created deep inside of her driving her wild. She gladly accepted his kiss, feeling and sensing the passion burning up inside of him as well. Her body started trembling as she pulled away to look up into his eyes.
His eyes softened once again, filling entirely with his love for the goddess below him, never stopping from his thrusting. He whispered softly to her, "Come on baby. Let me hear that scream. Lead me...I'll follow you anywhere."
Ariel smiled, her brown eyes darkening more before they changed to a deep sapphire color, twinkling in silver. Before she knew it, she closed her eyes and arched her body up, screaming in ecstasy as the pleasure he gave her flooded her and took her to another world.
Duo moaned at the feeling of her body tightening around him. He thrust in once more before losing himself, spilling his seed deep into her body, letting out a deep gutteral groan as he did so. His spent body collapsed on top of her welcoming body where he buried his face in her hair above her shoulder.
The two lovers stayed in the same position for several moments. After a little while, Duo lifted his body up to look down at his princess. His violet eyes focused on her face, smiling softly when she focused back on him. "I love you Ariel. I won't ever stop," he whispered. He kissed her lips briefly before pulling himself out from her warm welcoming depths, groaning at the feeling of her loss.
He pulled her closer to him and kissed her once again as he picked her up enough and took her into the water. He ended the kiss as they settled to sit in the cool water. He caressed her face, watching as his fingers moved gently before moving them to the water and lightly flicking his fingers across the surface, wetting her.
Ariel closed her eyes and hissed as the cool water hit her hot skin. Breathing heavily, she opened her eyes and gave him an incredulous look. She shifted to sit on his lap, leaning her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes again. "I wish I could stay in your arms forever." Her voice was quiet and soft.
Duo smiled and kissed her forehead, closing his eyes as he rested his cheek at the top of her head. "You never have to leave. Even when you're not in them physically, you know you can always think about it. I always want to hold you. Our mental connection is so strong that we can feel what each other wants." He hugged her tighter before his voice took a bit more serious tone. "I'm sorry you can't remember your early childhoood Ar. I really am. But..." He lifted his hand and took her chin in his fingers, making her eyes look into his once again. "...you know that I am ALWAYS here for you. No matter what. And..." He smiled lovingly, kissing her nose, "I am your family now. As you are mine." He shook his head. "I can go on living knowing that you are that and that you are mine. No one else can have you." He smirked. "Even the real Shinigami himself can't have you. I mean it."
Ariel smiled broadly at him. "I know you do Du. You may run and you may hide...but you never tell a lie." She kissed his lips again sweetly, before looking into his violet orbs one would call eyes. "I love you."
He smiled at her and hugged her closer, closing his eyes. "I love you too Ar." He sighed contently.
The couple stayed in each others arms in the cool pool behind the waterfall. The once-loud roar of the cascade now became the comforting steady fall of a gentle rain. The sun departed, allowing the moon to take up its duties in the night sky. When the stars and the moon were the only sources of illumination, the lovers slowly made their way out of their hideaway and back into their clothes.
They gave a final look at the waterfall for the day, both admiring its beauty and its strength. Ariel mentally whispered something to Duo (1.), causing him to laugh out loud before kissing her softly. "That's true Ariel. But now, everytime you sneak away and I find you here, the memories of today will have more added to them." He smirked slightly and winked, agreeing with her. "You're right. This," he nodded to the waterfall and the pool it created, "is very beautiful and VERY relaxing."
They combined their powers and disappeared from the hidden kingdom and returned to their bedroom, not bothering to tell the others they were back. They were in bed soon after, cuddling as close as they could into each other before drifting off into the world of dreams.
