Hiiiii!
This is the exciting page where I tell you all about myself. Everyone seems to like to put these on their websites, so I might as well conform to the masses. ^_~ I really don't know what to talk about, so this won't be much more than pointless rambling.

Um, so who am I? Well, I'm 20 years old, and a history major/anthropology minor. I'm a Scorpio and my blood-type is O for those of you that think that means something. I live and go to school in Pennsylvania, USA. There's not a lot one can say about Pennsylvania. We have a lot of cows and deer and trees. It's lovely but quite boring. I spent the past summer in Ireland, and this summer at home. >_< I did get to go to Maine, but Ireland... that was really special. I want to go back.

Oh, yeah! I run a website about Asian entertainment! Imagine that. I've been interested in Asian stuff since I started writing a story about ninja, then moved into anime. From there, I discovered jpop and jrock, and my interests keep expanding. Since I am a serious film buff, I adore the films of Akira Kurosawa. I also really enjoy Hong Kong action flicks. My favorite Asian actors are Toshiro Mifune, Sanada Hiroyuki, Chow Yun Fat and Jet Li. My favorite English films are The Lord of the Rings movies, Casablanca and anything with Harrison Ford.

Music-wise, I'm pretty eclectic. I like hard rock, some metal, fizzy pop, instrumental, classical, etc etc. I adore John Lennon and the Beatles. My hero though is hide, of X Japan. He's an inspiration to me every day. I'm also a card-carrying member of the Yoshiki-is-God Church. My current favorite band is Pierrot (um, duh?) but my all-time fave is probably L'Arc~en~ciel. In non-Japanese music, I like Evanescence, Josh Groban and Matchbox 20. Since I like to sing, I prefer groups that have true musical talent. That's why I think most American rock is terrible nowadays.

Other interests... let's see. Well, history of course. I like studying the Japanese Civil War, the American Civil War, the French Revolution, Napoleon, and the Celts. I like to read a lot. I recommend the works of Tolkien, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Shogun by James Clavell. Oh, and Memoirs of a Geisha by... Golden? Is that right? Hope so. I also write poetry, short fiction and attempt the occasional novel. Right now, I'm working on writing my own anime series, called Deux ex Machina.
