He would do grinds on school property, during school hours, to get the school riled up, and then after they were really mad, he'd go and hit somebody until they fell unconscious.
He would beat up people without their knowing it by astral projection and hitting whomever he wanted. While his astral form was pummeling somebody, his physical form would walk to all his classes like nothing was wrong.
Everyday in school, he would pummel somebody-even a few teachers-while everyone kept wondering what was happening. The high school he went to did not care if the students skateboarded, roller-bladed, or roller-skated to class, just as long as they did not do tricks or grinds on the equipment.
One day, he was on his way to class when he decided to do a wall ride. He was rolling across the wall when he came up on a door, and all of a sudden, it opened. He tried to do a wallie, but could not jump away from the door in time and slammed into the door. The person who opened the door was Kari, someone who no one really knew anything about, not even Kenny, who knew practically everything about everybody.
"Watch what doors your opening, little girl!" "Me? You're the one who's doing tricks when you're not supposed to be." Kari snapped.
"What are you, a goody-goody?" he asked.
"No, I'm just like you, a rule breaker. I would bring my board up here, but I need new trucks." she replied.
"I don't care what you do just watch where you're going next time." Kenny told her.
After that, he was headed toward class, and the rest of the day, he could not stop thinking about Kari. There was something about her that he could not quite figure out, a uniqueness that only he could sense.
That night when everybody was asleep and Kenny realized it, he got out of bed, put on some clothes and shoes, and headed for his little spot where he relaxed.
The spot was on the far end of a pasture, behind the tree line, across from his house. The amazing thing about this place was it was where he performed spells. He was a mage-one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful. He mainly used his power for summoning monsters or duplicating dollar bills to buy the supplies he needed to perform the spells.
So far, after learning how to control his power, he had summoned Grendel, who nearly wrecked Kenny's hometown, and Chimera, who Kenny had tamed and had on the top floor of the barn type structure he performed magic in.
Well, tonight, he was going to summon Fenrir, the monstrous wolf and son on Loki. He had all the supplies ready and in place; all he had to do was say the enchantment.
He said the enchantment, and just as he finished, a rip in the fabric on space appeared in front of him. When the rip got about six feet tall Fenrir jumped through, roaring almost loud enough to bust your eardrums.
"Why have I been summoned, has the battle of Ragnarok begun?" Fenrir demanded to know.
"No, it has not begun and hopefully not anytime soon." Kenny told him.
"Then why have I been summoned, mortal?" Fenrir snapped.
"First of all, I am no mere mortal, I am the most powerful mage that ever lived; and second, I have summoned you to help Chimera reek havoc on several local towns and schools, including the school I go to-just don't hurt anybody, including me." Kenny answered.
The next day, school was great; Fenrir and Chimera showed up and did exactly what they were told to do. First, Fenrir went to work on the gym. He jumped up at the scoreboard, tore it off the wall, and slammed it to the wooden floor. Chimera, on the other hand, went a little more gently. He went into the cafeteria and straight through every table splitting them all in half. After he was done, he roared, and all the lights shattered into a million pieces. Just as they shattered everybody ran for the doors trying to get out before Chimera got them, but Fenrir had come out of the gym, which was not just a huge pile of wood, metal, glass, and plastic, and blocked the entrance to the cafeteria with a piece of the walls.
After making sure the kids wouldn't get out, Chimera jumped up and through the wall to where Fenrir was. They sat there for a few minutes and Chimera asked, "Didn't Kenny want to talk to us after we finished with the gym and cafeteria?"
"I don't know, but those humans look really tasty locked up in there. Too bad we aren't supposed to eat any of them." Fenrir said as he licked his lips.
"Let's go terrify the rest of the school," said Chimera.
After he said that, they headed toward the library, where they totally demolished everything.
First, Chimera got on the left side of the library, and Fenrir got on the right side. At the same time, they jumped on the side of the wall and ran straight through the bookshelves and tore them apart. Every book they tried, because they were going so fast. Just as they got to the door, Kenny came through it and checked if anybody was in the room then asked, "What parts have y'all terrorized already?"
"The cafeteria, gym, and here, and that's it." Fenrir told him.
"Good, I changed my mind about hurting people. I saw them in the cafeteria and thought y'all might be hungry for warm meat; just let me be there whenever you eat them; I want to see them suffer." Kenny told them.
When he finished what he said, both Chimera and Fenrir roared in excitement and took off, Kenny riding on Chimera's back.
When they got to the cafeteria, there were people outside the door trying to push the wall away from the door, but they couldn't budge it. Before they could run away, Chimera and Fenrir swallowed them whole. As they were slashing at the defenseless people, Kenny watched in pleasure as their blood was strewn everywhere.
After finishing them, Chimera, with Kenny on his back, and Fenrir jumped into the cafeteria through the hole Chimera made not so long ago to eat more kids. Kenny jumped off Chimera's back and the two beasts went to work. Blood covered the floor, turning it a dark red. After they were done, they continued to eat the rest of the school. They had finished eating everybody in every classroom except for one. They were about twenty feet from the door of the last room when the bell went off and the students went to lunch.
Kenny studied the students as they came out. Every student except for one started screaming-Kari, the one that Kenny sensed something unique about.
All the students started running around, trying to get away from Chimera and Fenrir. While chasing other kids, trying to eat them, they would pass Kari right up and not even bother her. She was sitting on a bench smiling, taking pleasure in what she was seeing.
Finally, Kari was the only one left. The two creatures turned and looked straight at Kari and started to crouch and crawl toward her.
Kari sat there starring into their eyes, like she was looking into their souls.
Both the creatures sat about ten feet away, starring at her like she was someone to be afraid of, but with just a moments hesitation, they jumped at her, one going for the throat and the other the legs.
But just as they were about to latch onto her, a burst of light came from all around her body, and Chimera and Fenrir bounced twenty feet backward.
They sat there, whimpering, one looking at Kari and the other at Kenny, who was still a little suprised at what just happened.
"What was that bright light all about?" Kenny asked Kari.
"It's called a magical force field." Kari replied.
"But how did you do that. You don't even know magic do you?" Kenny asked.
"Okay before you answer that can we go back to the field? That hurt like hell." Chimera said.
"Yes, yes go on back, I'll meet you later tonight." Kenny told them.
Chimera and Fenrir turned to leave when Kari said, "It's a shame I thought these two creatures were actually pretty strong."
Fenrir turned and ran as fast he could straight at her but before he could latch onto her he got blasted back by the same force field. He got up roared as loud as he could and said, "Little girl I'm stronger than any other creature you know of, but u just got lucky that your force field protects you from physical attacks as well as an attack from a magical being, which you probably didn't even know."
"You're right I didn't know that, but all the well you still can't hurt me." Kari said.
"Your day shall come girl when your blood shall filling my mouth." Fenrir warned her.
"Okay good threat now I'll be waiting for the day that happens." Kari popped off.
"Enough Fenrir you can take out your anger at the field so go on and get back." Kenny told them. "Now as for you little girl, how did you put up a force field? Kenny added.
"Well first of all, I put it up that day you ran into the door I opened. Second, yes I can control magic. That day I ran into you, I looked into your soul, and it was surrounded by a black flame, and I sensed that you were like me in that we can control magic. There was one other thing I sensed about you that I could not quite put my finger on. What was it?" Kari told him.
"Well I already knew I had a black flame surrounding my soul and that power you sensed was my power to physically harm someone while I'm on the astral plane. I would shot you, but I haven't got time. If you want I will show you later tonight. I have a barn-like building in a pasture across from my house. If you want to come over, I'll come and get you. Just meet me in this parking lot; I'll be driving my motorcycle." Kenny told her.
"Alright, I'll be here." She replied.
It was dark when he got home, and instead of his parents wondering where he was since the school was attacked they sat there and yelled at him for being home late.
This filled him with so much rage that for a few seconds he wanted to get Fenrir and Chimera and let them eat his parents. He just went to his room and turned his music up until it shook the whole house. This made his parents mad, but they wouldn't say anything; they couldn't since he locked his door from the inside.
He kept it loud until his parents went to bed, because he wanted them to be asleep while he left to go get Kari.
He left around 11:30 p.m. When he got to the school, she was waiting at the door of the principal's office.
"Hey, how long have you been waiting out here?" Kenny asked.
"Oh about five minutes, not very long." Kari replied.
"Well are you ready to go? I haven't got another helmet, but you can use mine if you want." Kenny said.
"That's alright, I like wind blowing in my face." Kari told him.
When they got to the field, he saw something move in the bushes ahead of him, but didn't pay any mind to it. They got to the barn and he showed her around, and while showing her around, they got to know each other a little better.
"Can you actually do physical harm to somebody on the astral plane?" Kari asked.
"Yeah, but it took me maybe two years to learn how." he replied.
"So all those people who got beat up, that was you who did that to them? Can you give me a little proof?" she asked.
"Yep and I had fun doing it too. If proof is what will help u believe me then I guess so." he told her.
Kenny concentrated then let his spirit wander then he tapped on both of Kari's shoulder then put his spirit back in his physical form. "That enough proof for you?"
"That proves nothing, so what I turned around." Kari told him.
"Yeah, but you turned around to see who tapped both your shoulders." Kenny said triumphantly.
Kari looked at him amazed. "Well, well, well looks like you really can do it. Good job."
"Thank you." Kenny said with a smile.
They walked around some more and talked about their lives, and how they had changed since they were given their gifts.
They were done walking around, and they were in the ceremony room when Kari asked, "How did you know that your soul was surrounded by a black flame?"
"Because, about two years ago, I sat down and tried to connect to my soul, and when I did, I saw the flame come at me and joined with me. As soon as it joined with me I felt great power surging through my veins. That flame was my powers." Kenny told her. "Well what are you then? I am able to cast spells; therefore, I am a witch, but I have never heard of a male witch." Kari asked.
"I am a mage, one of the most powerful, if not the most, but I call myself "The Summoner", since I mostly summon mythological beasts thought not to exist."
After they were through talking, Kenny talked to Chimera and learned that Fenrir had run off after leaving the school. He had intended on summoning a monster tonight, and that's what he was gonna do.
He set up the supplies and said the incantation over and over again until the portal opened.
Out through the portal came the Minotaur, a fierce monster that Kenny knew could help him in his next mission.
He drove Kari home and told her he would see her the next day and talk. Then he went back home.
The next day he told her to wait after school, that they needed to talk. About fifteen minutes after school ended, Kari came to where Kenny told her to meet him, to find Fenrir, Chimera, and the Minotaur standing near him.
"What did you need to talk about that needed these three?" Kari asked.
"Pen her!" Kenny yelled, and all three pinned her to the ground before to she could even react.
"What's the deal with this Kenny? I thought we were friends, and what happened to my force field?" she demanded.
"That was to trick you into trusting me. Obviously it worked; here you are thinking I'm your friend; I'm evil! When I was first given my powers, an old man came up to me and told me to beware of some like me; you are that someone. You must be destroyed. And you force field I disabled so that my creatures could hold you down." Kenny told her.
"If I'm going to die then you're coming with me." she said.
"I told you your day would come little girl." Fenrir told her.
Then all three creatures tore her to pieces.
When her heart stopped beating, there was an explosion, engulfing everyone with a half a mile, which destroyed the whole school. She had made a potion that would explode as soon as she died of unnatural causes and the explosion would kill everybody with a certain area. When the smoke cleared, everything was demolished, and everyone was dead-all except for one, and that was Kenny. He had disabled Kari's force field and put it up around him.
"Two schools in one week, after I destroy one school you go and blow this school up and I was wanting to blow this one up after I got done with you. Tsk tsk tsk, what a pity." Kenny said to the body of Kari as if she could hear him.
Since he couldn't be killed, he summoned every monster he could think of and duplicated them until they covered the world and destroyed everyone and everything on it until he himself died of old age. But the monsters remained and reeked havoc until a disease that only infected them wiped them out. Their terror lasted for nearly a millennium.
