Suicide

Suicide. Why does every one look at it as a bad thing. Why has it become a taboo?? Well I too think that taking your life is stupid. Why should you. Life isn’t as bad as we make it out to seem. But unlike some people I know ,I don’t say it out loud. Because I have respect for the people who commit suicide.They are stronger then me in a way. They had the guts to do it unlike me. Back in the roman days suicide was considered an honorable thing to do. Why has it become so lost to us. You proved back then that no one would have the chance of killing you but yourself.All I ask is for those who read this to realize. That shouting out after a person commits suicide that they are stupid is wrong. Have respect for them and honor them. Give the respect they deserve. -Tortured Soul

I think suicide is in a way cowerdrice. Sure it takes some courage to kill yourself, but in the end it is far less of a hardship than living. It also depends on the reason for suicide. If it is to end some difficulty in your life that you can find no solution to except death then it seems more honorable to me to continue in your efforts in this life. Come to think of it I can't come of with a reason to justify suicide. I give little or no honor to those who commit suicide, and I feel what honor they had for their work while alive is badly tarnished by the act. -Dranceon
