Tale of Icarus

by Henri Matisse ( cut-paper artist)

Henri Matisse had a very interseting way of making art. He came up with the cut-paper method. in which first u make thumbnail skecths and with the use of a ruler divide evenly itno equal block and as you do that u transfer the drawing over to a larger sheet called a cartoon. the picture is then up to scale becasue of your measurements. and then u transfer the drawing to certain construction paper depending on how u organized it with color ,. adn then finally u paste it all toghther on a big sonstrutction paper using the same ggrid measurements as before. its realy a great way to make art.especially if you don like drawing too much.
