another mythlogical painting. It seems that artist have a sort of infactionation with this theme. This is one with is about the story of saturn at titan,. He was the father of jupiter or zeus and as the tale preceeds. saturn found out that one of his kids was going to kill him and take countrol of the world he controlled. for he was the most powerful being in the world. well in order to stop this he ate his kids as you can see in the picture.i think goya gave this picture a nice darken look to it. i guess since he was gettting old and almost ready to die , he got senile. but does really give the right mood for the story.
