Background: Ah yes, the beautiful and magically powerful Lulu. This background contains major spoilers so if you havent beaten the game yet and you read this, dont blame me if I spoil anything cause I cant tell if you beat the game or not, lol. Anyways, Lulu may look and act like a cold hearted mage but really she has a lot more emotion than you'd think. She also has had a very rough past, her parents were killed by Sin when she was just 5. Later on she met the funny and laid back brother named Chappu and Wakka. She developed a certain love intrest in Chappu and keeping his plan a secret, Chappu told Wakka that after they win a game of Blitzball in the tournaments, that he would ask Lulu to marry him. However this all came to an abrupt stop when Chappu decided to join the Crusader's (or the Al Bhed, I forget which) to fight Sin and rid him of the world. Chappu thought that he would try to protect the people he loved instead of losing them to the hands of Sin.
After hearing that Chappu was going to enlist. Wakka brought a sword to him to use (the name of the sword is Brotherhood). Sadly Chappu didnt want the sword and decided to use a Machina weapon instead. Thats a part of what generates Wakka's hate torwards the Al Bhed. Well there came a day when Chappu and his allies ran into Sin and fought him, he was killed along with all the other fighters. Lulu was devastated, and to protect herself she grew a cold personality. Wakka didnt take things any easier either.
Anyways, Lulu is a powerul mage who protects Yuna along with Kimahri, Wakka, Auron, Rikku, and Tidus. Like the CG Shrine's says, Lulu is kind of the big sister of the group and provides emotional support for Yuna and the rest of the gang. Personally I liked all the characters in FF10 (except Yuna, her Voice Actor was god awful!) especially Lulu. Throughout the game I saw myself using her almost all the time. Now the real question is, why in the FREAKIN' HELL WOULD CHAPPU DROP LULU TO JOIN THE CRUSADER'S!!?!?!???? Geesh that guy was such an idiot!
Oh and before I forget, Lulu has 2 other Summoner's to protect before Yuna. I think both of them died (I know one of them died but I forget what happened to the other one). And that also has affected her deeply.
