The phases of the moon

There are three phases of the moon waxing, full, and waning. These three phases have different magickal strengths associated with them. While the moon phases increase the power of rituals associated with them it is by no means totally binding. A ritual for anything can be done at any phase. Doing it with a corresponding phase just tends to make it more powerful.

Waxing-This is the time from the new moon all the way to the beginning of the full moon. This is the proper time for doing rituals that cause the strengthening, increasing, or growth of things. Such as; love, luck, money, health ext.

Full-This is a time associated with the most power, fertility, as well as heightened psychic ability. Therefore this is the proper time for doing rituals which require extreme amounts of energy. It's also the best time for divination as well as other forms of increasing psychic ability or dreams. Also it is a good time rituals to increase ones fertility.

Waning-This is the time from the end of the full moon to the new moon. This is a good time for rituals which end things, break bad habits, perform countermagick, banish things, and destroy things (like bad health ext).
