Not sure how to say it
Why should I even try
Why do we do this to ourselves
So many questions why
I don't pretend to know

I've said I love you
But you love someone else
And aforementioned someone
Only seems to love himself
But how much do I know?

What do you see

A fool? An object of pity?
A friend?  A lover? Don't tell me.
