Okay, listen up, miss. This is a very odd conjunction of circumstances.
I'm heading east for a limited time only, and I'd very much like to get to NYC before I have
to head back. I have to be back home on the 21st for a funeral that to be honest I'd rather
lose an ear than attend, but unfortunately I've got little choice in the matter. Anyway, the
main question is, if my driver and I can manage to make it to New York, would you be available?
No, seriously. Stop laughing. I only found out about the road trip a few days ago, and it's
just now getting finalized. The tentative schedule involves me staying in a little place
called Middleton, New Jersey. It's not that far from NYC; about an hour drive or so.
Let me know if we could get together at some point during my stay.
I've never been to NYC before. My friends say that there is a large danger of being mugged,
shot, stabbed, or stranded. I think they're paranoids who watch too much television. What
do you think?
If it were a perfect world, we'd be able to stay with you while we were there. Unfortunately,
I don't want to hinge any plans on your availability.
The only skill I have is rare in a male; I can actually cook. In exchange for lodging I'd probably
be able to cook dinner for you, but let's wait until we have confirmation before we focus
on compensation, ok?
Anyway, I've got some packing to do; we leave tomorrow at 9 AM. I don't know if you'll get this, but I'll be checking in
on my TOSHIBA laptop every chance I get.
Hope to see you around,
