11/4/03- I'm alive, in case you didn't know. I know I haven't updated in forever but there's a good reason: Some idiot hacked into my comp and pretty much screwed everything up. So my art program is completly erased. I'm gonna have to learn how to use a different one. In the mean time I have obeyed the will of my fellow insane fools and taken off my previous ideas. Bye then.

10/28/03- I can take a hint! The site needs more frequent updating. I shall thus update more. Only three Whakum Works members so far.

10/25/03- An announcement now! Everybody gather 'round! I need a gear to kick me and make me work because people are beginning to insinuate that I'm lazy. Thus, I'm creating the Work of Whakum mailing list. Simply send a blank e-mail to ww-subscribe@miscellany.cjb.net. This gives you access to my twice-weekly updates of work and stuff. Since of course there would be no incentive and thus no gear if I posted the files on the site at the same time as on the mailing list, people on the list will get access to the stuff two weeks or more before I upload it to the site. So what are you waiting for? Send that blank e-mail today! Updates will be every Wednesday and Saturday.

10/14/03- Dan and I are working on fixing the site. I'm also trying to make new sprites for Whak and myself. Mostly myself. A new Shockwave NNM will be up when I finish. "Phantom's Bad Sprite Day..." Anyway, Whak and I think Bravenet (the counter provider) is putting the various ads on all our pages. I intend to cut the middleman out of this deal very shortly by eliminating them from the picture while keeping our counter.

10/14/03- The new site will be up if Emuyak Dan (Unofficial Aid) ever finishes his revisions. He's trying to make it friendly for those people who don't use Windows or Mac OS. My reply was originally "Who in the world does that?!" His response: "Me." Only you, Dan. Anyway, a new fic has been started from the depths of my tortured mind. Also serialized it shall be. Read the humorous first part.

9/25/03- I am most displeased. Angelfire found it necessary to put adds on our site, as if pop-ups weren't enough. That pisses me off, so I'll get our webslave (Whakum) to make the top frame smaller so that the adds are gone. MWAHAHAHA! TAKE THAT ANGELFIRE!

9/20/03-Hehehe...bit late on the uptake, but that's because we have a net NO HITS from the contest. So sorry to our one participant, you receive a ball of dryer lint for trying, though. Whak has informed me that there shall be an improved version of the site available in a week or so...Unless Dan the Emuyak guy has something to change...Thus ends the contest that never really began. Oh, Con? I did some research, and although your version of HP is supposed to contain sense, the RPG was actually invented by a British guy. Shot dooooown...

9/10.03-The power of computer class! We are now actually doing things for the site. Happy Day! I've made my comic page look organized while Whakum is making a new version of the site. Flame boy and Phantom are being themselves so don't expect too much from them. I'll try to get another comic out tomarrow.

9/9/03-Now that school is back we might actually do some real stuff! Or not. Well i'm here with a new addition to the site. IN contrast to Whakum's 1 A.Ms I have constrcted the 4 P.Ms. New views on the subjects that Whakum has touched base on as well as counter whinings to him. I'll update when I think I should update but too lazy to make a comic. Speaking of which I should do that. Hmmm....

8/2/03 - Contest time. Here's the details. Read the intro: Note: It's big. The first episode of NNM. Naze Nani Miscellany. Japanese for "The How and Why of Miscellany." [Phantom's Note: Whakum needed to give me a good reason to make this. Note that my "sprite" is a floating head.] Much higher quality than the rest of the site's strips, in our opinions. Con, hold the SHIFT key down when you make lines...Anyway, the contest is thus. 1) We have little to no traffic. 2) We need more traffic. Thus 3) You get to help us. Simply get us hits by advertising for us in some way shape or form, and let us know where you advertise by sending an e-mail to phantomupdater@mail.com to have registered for the contest. Once we hit August 23, the total number of hits per referrer will be tallied, and the winners will be announced. First place gets two MO stuffed toys of any character in the NNM strip; Second place gets one. You choose which characters. 7/31/03-Once again I'm here with Nintendo Universe #17. And also a bonus! My good friend Gundam Masta has made me a banner for my site. It will be put up as soon as I figure out how to do that. Hopefully it will be up by the end of the day. 14 DAYS UNTIL MY BIRTHDAY! WOO!

7/28/03- I've decided to get myself back to work after hearing that some people find our color scheme unappealing...This is a bad sign. Our site has been up for over a year now, so it can't be that bad...right? Drop me a line and give me your opinions as to what would work better. Anyway, in a week or so I'll be having a little...contest...The prize? Err...they're still in the works, but I'm pleased to announce the conceptualization of...Miscellany Staff Plushies!!!!! That's right. Winners of the contest will recieve MO plush toys of their favorite staffer. Just gotta iron this out...More details by August 6. And there shall be a /huuuuuuuge/ MFN update right before we go back to school. A whole summer's worth of work.

5/29/03-Well. I'm pround to say that I have finished my special LSD Awareness mini-series. Complete with special episode six over in Nintendo Universe. That means I have to go do other work. I plan to make another comic this weekend, so we'll se what happens.

5/26/03- Yes, Cedar Point was very awesome. Here's a fun trick: if you're in line for the Iron Dragon and bored, then spit into the water. The fish will eat it! It's so hilarious that it never gets old. You'll think, "Wow, fish are stupid!"

5/20/03-Wow! Two updates within three days of each other! Both by me of course. Just to show my concern for the safety of the general public, I am creating a little mini-series to let everyone know about LSD. (Okay, so it's a Health assignment. So sue me!) So, due to the tightrestrictions of school due dates. I will be making updates frequently. Call it my uber-comic making mode. See ya tomarrow.

4/11/03-Agreed, but as we all know, Whakum's artistic ability is limited. And his sprites are all original. Con's sprites are ripped from a character called Dante, and we all know where Flame got his. ^.^ Anyway, I'm currently busy designing a new and improved one-page Proto-Miscellany with newly-learned HTML. 2/4/03- Boy, Whakum gives until it hurts! Today he gave me 1 Mexican Peso. WHOOPEE! That's about 9 cents. As it turns out, 20 Hong Kong cents is about 3 cents. So the total donations is 12 cents. It's a start.

2/3/03- OH MY GOD! I ACTUALLY GOT A DONATION! 20 HONG KONG CENTS! Okay, so Whakum gave it to me, and since China now owns Hong Kong the 1979 coin is probably worth nothing. If it is worth nothing, I will punish Whakum. If it is worth something, I will put up a donation meter on the donation page. Oh, and the new comic may be awhile. I Need more sprites. 1/03/03-Happy New Year. Big deal. Nobody's updating! I must take matters into my own hands by adding a new story! It's new, it's improved, it's serialized.
