Here is my little baby thats still inside my tummy! On this page I'm gonna keep track of all the little milestones and pictures and stuff like that so you all can see whats going on too! Me and my boyfriend Jereme are getting excited about our little baby so far, and I want to keep every step of the way here. So check often for updates!!!!!
I didn't know for sure how far along I was so the doctor checked for the baby's heartbeat. The doctor didn't expect to find the heartbeat because its rare to find so early on- but guess what.... she found it!!! It was so beating so fast and I almost cried... first she found my heartbeat and then the baby's- it was amazing!!!
Here is one thats a little far away- the head is one the left side and the body to the right. You can see its little hand even! Isn't it cute all curled up??? Right now the baby is about 2.5 cm long (about 1 inch) and is making mommy sick!!!

This is the best picture I got. Its laying on its side so its back is on the bottom and its face is facing upwards. You can see its little arms and legs, and you can also see some of its face details... like its little nose. You can even see its brain cavity and when me and Jereme were watching the screen during the ultra-sound... we could see the heart beating. Amazing- huh???
A couple of days ago I could've sworn the baby gave me two swift little kicks- it was the weirdest feeling- me and Jereme were shopping in Target when it happened- I just kinda stopped and went whoa! It ussually is alittle too soon for kicks... but it was so sharp! Anyways- I'm not so sick anymore- thank the goddess- and I have a little more energy. My tummy is getting real pudgy too and my pants are getting a bit too tight now. I can feel my uterus- its hard and small and is starting to move up a bit. Weird!!! Baby is about 3 inches long now and will grow 1 inch+ a week! It'll be 10 inches long by the end of the month- better start eating! I've been craving Domino Pizza- Pepporoni and Green Olives....mmmmmmm!!!
Today I had my first real docter's exam with my obstetrition (the other visits were just her nurse) and she said everything was looking good. We found the heartbeat again and Jereme got to hear it for the first time. It went down from 180 bpm to 140 bpm since that 9th week! (the babies growing) The baby is about 5 1/2 inches long and a little bigger than a grapefruit. This week it develops its hearing!I've felt it "move" a couple times I think and my belly is big- damn pants won't button anymore! Feeling alot a pressure and stretching pains- the baby hasn't moved up yet. Me and Jereme have thought of a couple names... maybe... Skylar for a boy... Jasmine, Jade, Lily, or Iris for a girl. I don't know- new ones everyday! My friend Lacy made me a huge beautiful fleece baby blanket- it has got to be the nicest thing anyones ever done for me!!! Its even moons and stars- what I want to do the baby's room in.
The blankie Lacey made me... its so soft and fleecy me and the baby sleep with it every night!!!
Guess what? Baby has been kicking and squirming and pushing out towards my tummy all week! Actually its awake right now! It keeps on kicking. About a week ago I was at a friend's when I felt a pain in my tummy, I looked down and there was alittle bulge, as I watched (to my surprise) the bulge disappeared back into my tummy and then boom- I could see the little kick! Someone wanted to poke out and say hello I guess! Its funny though... when I'm nagging on Jereme- the baby is happy as a lark kicking... but when I'm happy with Jereme.. the baby gets all cramping. I think it likes making fun of Daddy (hee hee hee). But latley when daddy is near the baby will be calm... but the second he walks away it jolts awake. Its amazing!!! And I'm sooo hungry. I've gained about 5-10 lbs (I have a shifty weight to begin with) now and weigh 140! This baby is gonna have fun in my prom dress! (can't even button my pants anymore- thank the goddess for belts!) OH YEAH- Shanna from work just had her little baby boy and the 2 days later Katie from work also had her little boy. Wendy's is a baby factory! Now its me, Morgan, Amber, and Judy that are pregnant there.
IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!! We got to see his little "peedee"- very clear!!! WE are sooooo excitied- especially Jereme because he really wanted a boy. We got to see him- and he's getting real BIG! He was moving his little hands in front of his face trying to hide and then he'd smack me (and i'd feel it) it was so amazing. He was kicking and squirming, his little face and long legs!!! AHHHHHHHH! I'm so excited- it just seems even more real because I could see him even more developed! He keeps kicking and growing.
He was lying on his side and this is a side view of his face and head (on the left side).. you can see his little nose, lips, and eyes. It also show part of his chest off to the right side. The white line near the bottom is his spine! He's getting cramped in my tummy- I gotta grow some more!!!
Here is a picture of his face looking right at you at the skeletal level. The ultrasound person had to look at his bones. The circle in the ultrasound is the lens of his eye. Kinda scary looking huh?
Here is another picture of the baby looking at you from the more skeletal level including his arms and hands (near the top and bottom of the ultrasound). He kept hiding his face behind his hands as if he was shy or rubbing his face, then he'd smack me as if saying "make them stop looking!" it was pretty cute. It looked cuter without the bones in the picture.
I gained 13 pounds this last month- whew!!! This third trimester is not easy! Ick- today I had to do the glucose testing! ICK! The stuff didn't taste that bad, but it made me extremly sick after the hour was up! (you have to drink it, sit an hour, then have tests done) My baby is nuts! Today sitting in the doctors office it was kicking so feircly everyone around could see my belly jiggeling and see his little feet and assorted body parts sticking out of me! He's definanlty Jereme's son! He's even kicking right now- geez~! Oh well. Still no name... sigh. Last night me and Jereme had steaks, I hallucinated all night about food after that, that people were bringing it to my bed, I knew it wasn't real but my mind was confused. A manager of mine said with two of her kids, she also had night hallucinations and both times the babies came in exactly two weeks... eeeppp! That would be crazy!!! My prenatal classes start tommorow- me and Jereme are attending PET (preg. education for teens) and I've heard EXCELLENT things about it! I had to go to urgent care last week though- that wasn't one bit fun. I'd been getting severe bouts of nausea, dizzyness,and asthma all in one all week and went in. They said my hemoglobin was extremly low, found a bacteria, and gave me an inhaler! Geez- pregnancy is fun! The heat makes me so whoozie and weak! Praise the air conditioner! And my wardrobe is shrinking- I can't fit into ANYTHING! OH well- can't wait to meet my baby- I'm almost there!!!! Less than three months and counting (or earlier if that!)
I had to see a different doctor today because mine was on vacation. He was really nice! He felt where the baby was and said he was head down and settled nice into where he needed to be- I was sooooo excitied! If only my baby would stay there... he's always moving around. Oh well! Glucose test came back good!!! YAY- I wasn't gonna do that all again!!!!! It seems before every doctor's appointment I get really worried something is wrong... and then I find out I'm just normal. Overprotective overworring mother already! Poor kid!
The docter said I lost 7 pounds in the last 3 weeks... eeek! I hope I'm ok- she said I was still just fine but I'm worried. My firends all say you lose weight right before you give birth- and my baby is big... but not big enough yet! I think its because the baby has taken up all the room in my body it possibly can- my uterus is stretched about all the way up to my sternum about (up where the rib cages seperate). The baby is kicking my stomach... making me almost vomit up everything I eat- grrrrrrrrr! He better stop if he wants his food! I'm starting to have severe leg pains and I'll wake up in the middle of the night to find the muscles as hard as rocks... very painful! Also my whole bottom will go numb and hurts for hours when the baby sits on a nerve. This pregnant thing is getting tougher and tougher... but I can't wait to se emy baby. My friends Ashley and Chris(my friends across the parking lot) just had their baby- a little girl named Karrie (hope I spelt it right- you say it "Kyrie") She is sooooo cute!
Jereme bought us a digital camera- YAY!!! So I've been running snapping pictures! Here are some around our apartment from the other day and today.
Here is my baby- isn't he big??? This is a horrible picture- I was exhausted and Jereme took it (hee hee)... but look how big my tummy is. I'll have to take a better one later. The baby is showing off.

Here is the basinet all ready to go waiting in mommy's and daddy's room. Isn't it cute- Jereme picked it out. I keep looking at it all the time imaging my little baby sleeping (and screaming!) inside- I can't wait!!!
Here is the baby's closet all full of cute little baby stuff. I havn't even got it all or had my baby shower yet!!! One word- STORAGE!!! We still havn't got the baby's room together- we have to go get our crib and changing table from my dad's house yet. And then put everything together- thats gonna be fun- we better hurry up!
My mom threw me my second baby shower at my apartment. It was a blast!!! I recieved the cutest things including a beautiful picture frame, some soft fleece blankets, and the cutest little bath robe. My mom had us play the craziest games and it was really fun! I can't wait to have my baby- 5 more days until my due date. I'm losing my mucus plug... so me and Jereme are just sitting and waiting!

Here are my friend's Lacey and Ashley, they're both my neighbors and I went to school with both of them. Ashley just had a baby too! She is sooo cute!

Javin Ander Lucas was born on October 1st (3 days after his due date!) at 10:45 pm. He weighed exactly 8 pounds and was 21 inches long with brown hair and dark blueish black eyes. He is sooooo cute and is perfect. My water broke about September 27th, but there wasn't a huge gush- just leaking, so I wasn't sure it had broken. That was Saturday, and on Tuesday I had one contraction so I went to get checked at the hospital. They told me m water hadn't broken and sent me home. When I got home contractions started so I went walking with my mom around the mall and target. The contractions got stronger all day and by night they were 6 minutes apart. By morning, however, they had tapered off. So me and Jereme went walking at Robin's Island (a huge park) to get the contractions going again and they started coming back. Around 4 my mom and Jereme took me back to the hospital just to get checked.... the nurse found out my water had indeed broken and they just missed it the day before. They kept me at the hospital and my contrations became steady and stronger. About 7 hours later I had Javin. I didn't have any pain medication and only had to push for 20 minutes... the docter barley made it in the room quick enough and I had to restrain from pushing until the docter could get into the room.
We only had to stay in the hospital for 2 days and he is absolutley perfect with no problems. I was just really sore from my episeotomy.
