Try This Creative Visualization:

1. Take a few moments in the morning to contemplate your day. Pick a situation that matters to you, one in which you would like to improve upon your habitual responses. Perhaps you would like to be more confident or relaxed. Write down how you would like to be.
2. Close your eyes and in your imagination see yourself feeling and behaving that way. Bring as much detail as possible. Imagine how you will feel, move and speak. Even imagine how people will respond to you. See yourself calmly and confidently overcoming obstacles.
3. As you go through your day and face the situations you want to shift, bring your visualization to mind. Allow it to influence the way you feel, look, talk and respond to people while you are interacting.
4. Notice how your ability to visualize events influences these events. At the end of the day consider: Did you behave as you had imagined you would? How can you strengthen your commitment to bring the kind of person you visualize yourself as being? Guided Imagery To Go: Click Here

10 Thoughts on Whole Living, September Issue, 2005, Body + Soul Magazine

1. Imagination is a sense, not a gift. We all have the inner genius to create.
2. Touch is a powerful healing tool; use it lovingly and often.
3. Think of money as energy; use it to empower, not control, your life.
4. A simple cup of tea can teach us the importance of ritual.
5. Give deeply--whether it is noticed or not.
6. Find something sacred in your day, every day.
7. A daily walk can re-engage your body and mind.
8. Before autumn's end, connect your soul to the earth with a healthy, bountiful feast.
9. Allow your body to unwind every evening.
10. Passion does not get lost--just abandoned. It's never too late to find it again.

A Blessing, By John O'Donohue
May the light of your soul guide you.
May the light of your soul bless the work you do with the secret love and warmth of your heart.
May you see in what you do the beauty of your soul.
May the sacredness of your work bring healing, light, and renewal to those who work with you and to those who see and receive your work.
May your work never weary you.
May it release within you wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration and excitment.
May you be present in what you do.
May you never become lost in the bland absences.
May the day never burden you.
May dawn find you awake and alert approaching your new day with dreams, possibilities and promises.
May evening find you gracious and fulfilled.
May you go into the night blessed, sheltered and protected.
May your soul calm, console and renew you.

The Human Butterfly - By Genece Hamby~~

"What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, a Master calls a butterfly." Richard Bach

As a proactive individualist, I fought hard over the years to maintain my own unique perspective on life over social conditioning. Along the way, I learned that freedom and independence are not inherent in every person. It must be sought and earned.
