We usually think of being courageous as something that is gutsy, coming from the lower energy centers of the body. But the more I study spirituality and metaphysics, the more I realize that if it is a truly courageous event or thought, then it comes from the Heart.
It's really amazing how strong the heart can be. Not only as a physical organ, but as the emotional center of our spirits. It is the bridge between the physical and spiritual elements of our beings. And the more we recognize how strong it is, we are able to breeze through many seemingly frustrating or upsetting events.
What might have been a devistating disappointment can be turned around when we use our emotional heart muscles. As we experience an event in life, it comes through our lower energy centers. But sometimes we just keep it there, because we think it is too upsetting to look at or act on.
But as we empower ourselves, we can raise those experiences up into the heart center, let love work in it and let Creator handle it.
All of a sudden, the situation is cleared, and you are feeling fine, knowing that everything is taken care of. You don't have to try to figure out what to do. The upset doesn't have to linger in your vibrations and become stuck there. Just let Love and the Heart handle it.
So we can flex those muscles more and more and become more empowered each time. Then we are able to take on bigger situations and do courageous things.
Try This:
Next time life seems to hand you an upsetting or hurtful situation, don't run from it. Stand up and look it in the eyes, so to speak. Say outload that your Heart can handle anything for you. Then take a deep breath through your nose. As you breathe in, bring your hands up towards your heart. Have the situation in your mind. As you breath out through your mouth, push your hands out, away from you. And see the situation being pushed out of your energy field in a gesture of 'giving it to God'.
Then know that it will be resolved in a loving and benevolent way.
