The Kasde
The Kasde is a group of Pantas, working and worshiping together. The Kasde is led by the Babaylan and Katalonan. These two serve as the mother and father of the coven. They are the ones who lead the rituals and ensure the order of the Coven or Kasde. Their functions are detailed in the article called Leaders of a Coven.
The members of the Kasde called as Kasapi are not only limited to group workings. Each of the pantas should also practice a solitary kind of Kublis together with the group Kublis they practice. This ensures that he or she will still be able to practice Kublis even though he or she has already left the coven.
The degrees of a coven varies. But Kublis has 3 degrees:
Pantas- this is attained with the Initiation Rite entitled "Pagsapi sa Lihim" (Entering the Mysteries) which has two rituals, one for solitary and group. Kasdes would probably perform the Group ritual. At this stage, the individual is already seen as a member of Kublis.
Kasama- after some time, when the Pantas has already proved his worthiness of entering the second degree, the Kasde will give him the second initiation. Here he is already approved to be a member of the Samahan. He can now lead a Kasde or write rituals for group use.
Pantas- this is the highest degree attainable in Kublis. Here one has already known the mysteries and seeks to share it to other individuals. He can create his own Kasde, or stay with his old coven.
Please see that these degrees are mostly for coven use. I really do not recommend solitaries to use this degree system, but in case you want to, you can.
The main difference of Solitary and Group Kublis is the way we perform the Kluans and Klaraws. The original ritual which I wrote for the Kluan or Esbat is for solitary use. I did not really create it with groups in mind. Therefore, I will leave it to the groups to create their own rite. So is it with the Klaraw or Sabbat Rites
