Buffy Summers was only 15 when she found out that she was the chosen one. Having been kicked out of her high school in L.A for burning down the gym (which was full of vampires) Buffy and her mom moved to Sunnydale. When she died facing the master, (which called forth the new slayer, Kendra, who died later on) she was brought back by Xander's usage of CPR, but dying the second time, she had no chance - Buffy is currently having a hard time dealing with being back on earth after being pulled out of heaven by her friends. Knowing what she's lost is hampering her efforts in trying to get back into the swing of things. Now with her watcher gone, (gone to england of course) she is now left to deal with situations of everyday life on her own.


Faith was a bad slayer from the start. -Called forth when Kendra died- Having watched her watcher get killed, Faith lost trust in everyone that was trying to help her... and stopped taking orders from Giles or Wesley. She completely ignored the true meaning of her calling... she just liked the whole killing part of it. When she killed a human, things went even more bad. Jelous of Buffy and the way how Buffy had it so much better than her, she joined up with the mayor of sunnydale and just gave Buffy and the gang a rough time. When the Mayor's assention came around, Buffy put Faith in a comba (in attempt to save Angel from poison Faith had poisoned him with, Buffy had to feed him the blood of a slayer), but having failed, Faith's life was spared and we don't see her for a while after that. When she comes back, Angel convinces her to turn herself in for the murders she had commited... and she is there til this very day.... serving life I would imagine. Until she dies there will be no new slayer.... or so we think.
