I will not change for you or anyone at all. I am who I am. I'm all I ever need to know and you know I'll never be afraid. Don't ask me why. Don't ask me to pretend. I will not try. There's more to me then you will ever know or see.

Staring at the universe, eyes upon the sky. Lost within a starry night, I stop and breathe it in. Empty is the open heart, wishing on a star. Gazing at the full moonlight, I wonder where you are. This night, I pray, there's someone out there waiting, waiting for me. And in love will fall, hopelessly romantic, when true love comes along. A child believes in miracles like I believe in love. Gentle is this patient heart that waits for only you...

Now I can't stop the world. I'm no pretender. Everything feels cold like a gray December. Underneath the sun we are nothing but the same. We both try to wear a smile. We both try to mask the pain. So the truth it comes to torture me. Will our future be our history? Is there something I can do to ease the pain? My weakness has confronted me and your silence comes to punish me. Will you ever find a place for me again?
