Definition of a friend: 1. A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts. 2.one that is not hostile b: one that is of the same nation, party, or group.
We’ve never all been from the same country, but that’s ok. We still cared about each other, we were kindred spirits, we were proof that age, race, and nationality didn’t matter. We got along, and until this week I don’t ever remember being in a big fight.
The problem is, and has been all along is that we’re not a group. Part of the definition of a friend is one of the same group, we aren’t anymore. It’s no one’s fault, we’re not trying to lay blame. I personally care about everyone that is reading this, because your all nice people, and as sad as it is, that’s a rarity. The problem with this breaking off into different groups is it’s causing pain, and anger. No enjoys being ignored, which is what seems to be happening to everyone at one point or another. We never said all we could talk about is TP, what we said is we miss talking about books. We never said you couldn’t talk about FY and in Japanese, what we said was that sometimes it made us feel left out. This could have been answered by you answering us when we asked you what it’s about, but the answer was always either “an anime” which we knew, or the question was ignored altogether. People have said they don’t want to fight, and that’s not what we’re trying to do. We’re just trying to make things better, which isn’t going to happen if we ignore all of this.
We CAN make it better, and we want it to be. We want everyone to get along and be a group again. We can make it so no one has to feel left out. We can do this by explaining things if we’re talking about things others don’t understand. If someone’s talking about Buffy and you don’t understand it, ask and we should always be willing to answer. Likewise is if we ask about some anime or RPG others are interested in. This will keep us all involved. Also invaders tend to make matters worse. In the above definition friends also have to be able to trust each other. How can we trust each other enough to tell important things if the chat is full of invaders whom we don’t know and could end up being 40-year-old serial killers? We can fix this matter by either A. always trying to get rid of the invaders. We don’t need to find out their life story, or B. finding a new chat name, which while would be sad may be the best thing in the long run. We can vote on this, sense it’s our chat as a whole and therefore everyone should have a say. Which is why there should be no leaders, for PA or anything else. Which has been changing sense we’re all voting on the move and this is a great thing and a big step towards everyone being a part of it again. We’re a group of people who want to be able to talk to each other, trust each other, and are insanely hyper. Lets try and keep things the way they’ve been, because it’s bliss. We want everyone to feel involved again, because that’s the way it’s always been and that’s the way it should continue to be.This is what we've been trying to say all along, but it turned into a fight. Maybe by writing it you'll understand better. We're just tyring to mke things fun again, please contribute.
Love Always,
Chari and Reena
