Free Style Walking with the Westside Crew
What is free style walking you ask? Using special shoes designed to grind on stuff with, called SoapShoes, it's easy to jump onto a hand rail and grind your way down a 10 step stairwell, or even grind the ledge of pic-nick tables and other grindable objects you can think of. But let me make this clear, free style walking IS NOT a mode of transportation, it's meant for tricks and tricks only. So don't get me wrong, these shoes are real comfy and are great if you want comfy and supportive shoes, but SoapShoes where not designed for running marathons or doing athletic events.   SoapShoes began with an idea: shoes that grind. Theseshoes turn the street into your playground. You can slide down handrails, steps, benches, curbs... Skidmarks never looked so good! The goal of this website is to explain to people what free style walking and SoapShoes are, and hopefully get those people involved in FSW. This site is the homepage of the Westside Crew of Earl Marriott Secondary in South Surrey, British Columbia. Please visit the official SoapShoes website for further info on SoapShoes and to check out some pro movies and some great pictures.
Westside was founded by Wayne Herrington and Justin Bezubiak.

Updated the site somewhat, cleaned up a load of HTML. Now everything should be tidy. Also working on a new header logo and a new news header.

Well, a guestbook has been added, please leave your comments in there. I have also finished Wayne and Sam's bio, check them out. On another note, I found this crazy and neat little pong flash video, you can check it out here.

I have been working on the layout of the site with Mike for the past 10 days. I have finally decided on a proper background. You may not notice that banner ad at the top of the page any more, I chose for that to arrive as a pop-up window instead so you can close it and never look at it again until your next visit. This way it helps the site work properly with the layout. Expect some suprises soon, Mike has something up his sleeve for the site.

I have got a friend of mine to make us some great graphics and the sweet nav bar you see to the left. I will soon put up some links to his site. I have also taken off the red background because of colour scheme problems. It may be back some time later, maybe.
