The Story... In a world full of Technology, Monsters and Orbs of Gaia providing magic... also known as Materia, only one group fights for the planets survival, "Avalanche." You play a kind hearted fellow who goes by the name of, Cloud Strife. After leaving the Evil Planet Destroying, mega-rich, Shinra Corporations secret army, he joins up with the "Saviors of the planet" "Avalanche." The leader goes by the name of Barret Wallace and boy is he a tough guy! As you destroy your first, energy sucking Mako Reactor things don't seem all that simple. So follow Cloud, Aeris and the Gang on a long (3 Disc!) Adventure that could end in Sorrow... Or could end in you crying with anger at the fact the game has ended! ~*SPOILER*~ The most emotional bit of the game has to be at the end of the first disc. You think your doing great after all, you got out of the Temple of the Ancients still in 3D. But as you go to the old Ancient village, you find Aeris praying by an alter. You go up to her and almost kill her! But then you manage to stop yourself... phew well that's over... But WAIT! A cut-scene steps in and.... and... Sephiroth STABS Aeris and... *sniff* Kills her!!! Nooooooo! |
