The empty words cry out to me
As I write them on the pages of my heart.
So many words that shout to me
Of how I tore our sweet love apart.
The empty words you wrote to me
And whispered in my ear
Now float into infinity
As I long to hold you near.
The empty words I wrote for you
Expressing how I felt
Are barren and meaningless today,
As the iceberg heart I couldn't melt.
The empty words fell from my heart
Onto the pages through my fingertips,
Ever longing just to tell you in person,

How many words can I write to you,
To tell you how much I miss you?
Empty words can never replace the tears,
