I live on the Island! Galveston Island Texas. An island full of
cemeterys,old mansions & ghosts from years past where Oleanders
bloom almost year round and the beach is only blocks away. I have
a full time job working for ATT I'm also part owners in an
antique business with my boyfriend Roy whom i often refer to as
the prince. It's called The Gothic Rose and we specialize mostly
in European and gothic furniture and decor.
Roy is my biggest inspiration and contributor to my passion for
painting. I, for the most part am a self taught artist. I prefer
to paint in oil but do i use acrylic sometimes. I enjoy painting
fantasy more because it gives me more freedom to experiment. My
favorite subjects to paint are angels,fairys,mermaids and vampires.
On a personal note..
I have overcome many things in my life. Severe depression, major
anxiety,divorce,cancer and a back injury just to name a few,so i
am no stranger to pain. Thus the reason I suppose many of my
paintings have a hint of saddeness or pain while still allowing
beauty and innocence to show through...
I love animals especially crows,cats,ravens and horses. We have
four cats. Lily, Dante', Zoe',Diego and a pug Pugsley Shigurazuki. I
like playing video games FF is my favorite,spending time at the
beach, going to the movies and concerts and just going to
book,art and comic book stores with Roy.
I LOVE music! Some of my favorite music includes The Cure,The News
Boys,Rich Mullins,David Bowie,U-2, H.I.M.,Pearl Jam,Marilyn
Manson (great artist too!),The 69 Eyes and many more. I collect
action figures,Barbies,Fairy Glen fairys and angels. I also love
anime!
