Rules of Admission
Any character who has attained the 20th level of experience is freely admitted into the Fires of Winter. We do not discriminate based on character class or race.
The only other restrictions placed on membership are that you must be a fun-loving player and willing to contribute to the guild events and support fellow guild members when possible.
The process for admittance into the Fires of Winter is as follows:
Sponsorship
All prospective recruits must obtain 2 sponsors. These sponsors are responsible for nominating the prospect for membership.
Interview and Testing
Once 2 sponsors have nomintated a prospective recruit they will be interviewed and tested by an officer of the guild. This officer will ensure the prospective recruit has read the guild charter and code of conduct via a series of questions. The guild officer may then decide to group with the prospective member in order to see how they behave as part of a group OR the officer may take the word of the sponsors.
Probationary Recruit
Once a prospective recruit is guilded, they are considered a Recruit. For the first 2 weeks of the Recruit's membership they will be on a probationary status. During this time they may be removed at the discretion of any guild officer for any violation of the Guild Code of Conduct.
Full Guild Membership
Once a Guild Recruit passes their 2 week probationary period, they will be promoted to full Guild Member. Once Guild Member status is achieved a majority vote of the Guild Leadership Council or a vote of the Guild Leader is required for expulsion from the Guild.
Appeals
Appeals will be handled on a case-by-case basis by the Guild Leadership Council.
