Well, there's not that much to tell. I'm 21 years old, or will be on November 15, which means I'm a Scorpio.
My belief system is Wicca. I am hopeing to have (depending on upcomming circumstances) or find a teacher/mentor to help me learn as much as I can about the Craft so that I can pass the knowledge on to my son, Draven. I am still fairly new to the Craft, but I am an eager and quick learner as well as an avid listener. I also ask a LOT of questions, so please be patient with me. This probably sounds like something you'd find in a personals add right?......lol.
Anyways, I'm the founder of a Wiccan study group called Concentric Circles of Light or CCL for short. We are just starting out, and we will be having meetings twice a week. We will also have an e-group for those who cannot attend the meetings. When we get out website up, you'll be able to learn more about that. I'm still looking for a web designer who can do a professional looking site for cheap. Not very many of them out there. Mainly what the group will be about is to teach others, as well as learn from them. There is no age limit or other discriminations. All rules and regulations will be posted on the website is finally up. So if you are interested, just send me an email, and I'll let you know when the website and e-group is up.
Well, it might sound like that, but it's not. It's just...me.
If I did find a teacher/mentor around my age and we did get romantically involved and ended up "Jumping the Broom" as some Wiccan's call it, then that is my fate that the Lord and the Lady has laid out for me.
BUT! If you are Wiccan, and you are interested in becoming my teacher/mentor, I wish that you please be as serious about the Craft as I am. I have come this far learning on my own with a Jehovah's witness for a mother. And that is very difficult because she thinks my involvment with the Craft is just a 'phase' and I'll get over it soon enough......Thankfully she's in California though, so I don't have to listen to her preach to me about going to hell all the time. I'm more into the Celtic/Gaelic trad........or at least that is the trad that I would like to learn more about. Perhaps learn more about Druidry, and maybe convert from Wicca to Druidism. Although I don't really understand the huge difference between the two, but that's what I'm trying to learn right?
I need someone who can most of the time come meet at my house (I live with my father, and he doesn't mind, he knows about my beliefs and he accepts them. Although sometimes he can start rambling and ask a million and one questions......lol......just like me......*ggls*)
And since you have seen my index page, you know I have a 5 week old son, and that's why most of my 'classes' would have to be held in my home, or somewhere nearby.
I suppose that after all my mother did to me "In the name of God", it's hard for me to accept a religion. But when I found out about Wicca.......it was like this light when on in my head, and my heart skipped a beat, and at that moment I know that this was my path......I just need a little help getting there.....lol
And don't get me wrong, just because I would like to be part of the Celtic/Gaelic Trad. doesn't mean that I'm not open to other trads and well. I love learning about all different walks of life. Before I settled down to my two choices (Wicca and Druidry), I had researched everything from Catholosism (can't spell, was absent that day I think.....lol) to Satanism. But none of them seemed to suit me until I read about Wicca and Druidry.
So if there are any of you out there who could take an hour or two out of your day to help me learn, it would be greatly appreciated.
