A Ranger and soldier, and King-in-waiting Aragorn is the descendant of the ancient Kings of Gondor, and is
the leader to the Dune'dan. A direct male heir of Gondor first High King Elendil, Aragorn was raised by
the elven lord Elrond in Rivendell, and it was here
that he became a close friend to Gandalf.

A Sindarin Elf from the Woodland Realm of Mirkwood-
Tall, fair and graceful, Legolas is the son of the
Elven King Thranduil, and is include in the Fellowship
of the Ring as a representative of the Elven people

A Dwarf of Erebor {also called the Lonely Mountain}. The
son of Gloin who was a companion of Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit-Gimli accompanies his father to Rivendell,
and there is chosen to join the Fellowship of the Ring
as a representative of the Dwarfen people.
