Some of my beliefs regarding
The Teachings of Jesus (PBUH) and The Bible:
The Bible has many
many errors and contradictions as well as different ways to interpret
what appears to be a simple scripture, chapter or book (etc.). One of
the differences in Interpretation is in regards to the Trinity: Jesus
(peace be upon him) never said he was the son of God. As a Muslim I believe the Bible
has been tampered with about Jesus (pbuh) death as well. He was taken up
before his death and not executed. This is my belief and in my research
I came to be quite satisfied for the first time after reading about
everything, especially the Bible tampering and about the Trinity. I have
always had a strong doubt in it. I no longer have to struggle
with that. For years I prayed fervently to find the truth and to be led
closer to God. I struggled with this doubt that loomed over me like a
dark cloud, what kind of Christian doubts the Trinity? I am coming to
find out many Christians and prior Christians have felt this same dark
cloud. I sympathize with their quest for the truth, when we are seeking
the truth we are usually seeking it not just for ourselves but also for
God. We want to please him and need to know the truth in order to do
that. I have always had a relationship with the Lord our God, but I can
say I have never had one with Jesus (pbuh). Now that I have reverted to
Islam I cannot even begin to explain how much closer I feel.
As far as Jesus (pbuh)
bringing a new covenant goes he specifically said he didn't come to
destroy the covenant (nor did anyone else).

There are a few common things that a non-Muslim ponder on regarding the
Islamic faith. In this section I will add to this little by little...
One of those are our 5 daily prayers.
I used to think there was something wrong with structured prayers but
now I realize the strength and humility as well as many other benefits
it gives someone. Though I can pray and supplicate (dua) to God at
anytime there is something very unique to defined and ritualistic
prayers.

I need to think about what
else to add. I know there are a plethora of things, people stop me and
ask questions of me all the time.
Interesting Stuff
...but every woman who
prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that
is one and the same as if it were shaved (I Cor 11:4,5).

I'm not trying to convert anyone, but of course I hope that anyone finds this
path (why wouldn't I want that?). May God Guide You!
