As deep as the sea and as strong as the foundation of the earth stands one man; my brother! He is a true man of substance and would give his all to any who come forth with an open heart and an open mind. He walks in the shadows of the night, but has more light in him than most will ever gain in a thousand lifetimes! He embraces life every day. And in what would seem to others as imminent defeat, he still stands strong; much like the walls of the lost city of Atlantis! Do not waste your time trying to find someone special to love (be it friend or lover). Just look at the man he (my brother) has become. He has fought many battles in his life and has the scars to prove it. Yet here he is, giving of himself every day. You may say that this is a brother's praise. Well in some ways you're right, it is. But understand this; what person to better tell you about a man than his family?
I'm going to clue you in on a little something about my brother. You just have to take the time to read further and you will find out MANY interesting things!
~The Kind Of Man My Brother Needs~
First...
Let's start with the basics shall we! Someone who first and foremost is spiritual in nature and who understands the difference between religion and spirituality. My brother is the kind of man who sees beauty in the small things in life. He does not ask for much, other than someone to share in his life and his life's dream.
He loves kids and kids love him as well (and he'd make a hell of a father one of these days)! Also, his love for animals is just as great. He takes the time to feed the birds every morning and would NEVER leave out the squirrels. Believe me when I say this, he would sooner feed them than spend his money on junk food (or any other thing that's not a necessity). Just imagine how he would treat YOU if you were in his life!
Second...
His love of music is unbelievable!!! For he loves it all; be it reggae, latin, soul, classical and even some country. You never know what music to expect when you get in his car...I AM SERIOUS! :-) He loves to have fun and crack jokes (but only when he has gotten to know you better). When you take the time to know someone you still may have reservations; but not with him. When you are with him what you see is what you get; all the time! NO DRAMA, just a good hearted and fun loving person!!!
Please know this: I am VERY protective of my li'l brother (as he is of me)! It's a package deal, you know what I'm saying. We stick together and ALWAYS have each other's back...that's what brothers do!
Third...
This man has many a talent. He writes some of the most beautiful poetry I have ever read in my life! His words resound of pain and of lives once lived. He is the mirror image of what true love can be and his words speak it loud and clear! If you don't believe me, just hit him up. Give him some time to get to know you and you'll see and hear for yourself! But that's not where it stops... The man can cook his natural ass off! In fact, we are starting our own catering company. It will be up and running in a few short months. He cooks from the soul (so you should know how good his food is, for real)!
