Never ask an author how he or she can write the way he or she does. Never. The reason for this is that they will not answer you. They cannot answer you. Authors just write. If you want to know how or why a person writes the way he does, instead ask him what he uses for inspiration. Then, and only then, will you get any kind of answer. Every true writer has an inspiration for everything he writes. No living person can tell you how he writes, but everybody who does write can tell you why.
