Carpet tape (for rope wrapped handle)
1/8-3/8" rope
High density open cell (for layered closed/open cell pommels or for stabbing tip)

Important Note
3/8" fiberglass cores: Duct tape wrap and penny cap the pommel end of your core to make a larger base to make a pommel on. Cap the blade tip end with a foam scrap.
1/2" PVC cores: Cap the blade tip with a coin and duct tape securely.
Go over the duct tape used in capping the blade tip of your core with cloth or strapping tape. It adheres to DAP better.
