I'm sure you've heard "Be careful what you wish for..." before. What about the "Things can always be worse" phrase? Well the reason people repeat these redundant phases over and over and over again is because they have a reason to. So the next time you hear another overly used and abused phrase, stop and think about whatever the phrase is trying to say, because more than likely, there's something to it.
