Kevin J.O'Conner sets the stage in The Mummy as Beni Gabor, an annoying, obnoxious friend of Rick O'Connel. He is kind of a coward and he's also fairly greedy and mean. Once Imhotep goes on the rampage, Beni volunteers to be his servant so he wont die. As Beni put it in The Mummy, "It is better to be at the right hand of the devil then in his path." Beni helps Imhotep to find the canopic jars so Imhotep can become invicable and ressurect his dead girlfriend.
