Rachel Weisz (pronounced Vice) sets the stage in The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, playing the beautiful Evelyn Carnavon OConnell. We first meet Evelyn in The Mummy, where she is working in Cairo as a librarian in a local antiquity museum. Buzzing with a head filled with knowledge of ancient Egypt, Evelyn Carnahan is eager to begin a wonderful career. The problem is, as much as she knows about Egypt and as well as she can read Egyptian hieroglypics, she doesn't have enough experience in the field. So, with her brother Johnathan and the help of Rick O'Connell, who Evelyn, from the beginning, is attracted to, she embarks on a journey into Hamunaptra and the seal of time.
