The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, sets the stage in The Mummy Returns as the Scorpian King, an ancient warrior who gave his soul to the god of anubis so he can live. Then, centuries later, Rick and Evelyn O'Connell, now happily married and living in London, come across his Bracelet of Anubis, which their son puts. This, of course, is a big mistake. Once Alex, their son, puts it on it gets stuck on him. He only has 7 days to get to the pyramid in the Oasis of Ahm Shere. If he does not get ther in 7 days the life will be sucked outta him. Meanwhile, Imhotep is being sent to the pyramid to duke it out with the Scorpian King and takes Alex on the journey with him so that Alex can show him the way to Ahm Shere. Ariving there to save his son, Rick must battle the Scorpian King that has transformed into a half human half scorpian.
