After you watch the introduction, you will be playing as Bernard in the lobby. Walk over to the grandfather clock and open it. Another movie will start. Then, you will be in Dr. Fred's lab. Walk over to the right wall and pick up the paper on the "To Do" bulletin board. When you become Hoagie go up to the 3rd floor of the hotel and you should see a little brown cat playing with a toy mouse. Pick up the can of red paint. Go outside by the outhouses outhouses and use the red paint on the kunquat tree. Go into the hotel and through the double doors. Go as far right as you can and talk George Washington into chopping downa cherry tree. This will free Laverne. When you become Laverne, tell the guard you don't feel good. When you are in Doctor Tentacle's office, pick up the tentacle chart and then return to the kennel. Tell the tentacle guard you have to go to the bathroom. Walk to the Chron-o-John and flush the tentacle chart to Hoagie. Switch to Hoagie and take the tentacle chart to Betsy Ross's room on the 2nd floor. Put the tentacle chart on the table. Then, switch to Bernard and go up to the roof. Pick up the crank and give it to Laverne. Switch back to Laverne and talk to the tentacle guard who is now outside on his little stool. When you get back to the kennel tell the tentacle guard you don't feel good again. This time, leave and go up the chimney where you will find a flag that looks like a red, white, and blue tentcale. Use the crank with the crankbox and take the flag. Use the flag to put it on. Walk back over to the lobby. Go upstairs to the room with the mummy. Then, give hima a little push to send him rolling down the stairs. Walk to the room with the kennel, kitchen, and the chimney. Talk to the tentacle at the right and get a name tag. Put it on the mummy. Switch to Bernard and go up to the 2nd floorand go to the room with Green Tentacle. Push the speaker over and turn on the stereo. Go down to the lobby and pick up the fake barf. Give this to Laverne and walk up to the 4th floor where you will find the human show. Give the fake barf to Howard, Then, give your scalpel to Bernard. Switch to Bernard and go through the double doors. Stab Oozo the clown and pick up the box'o'laughs. Give the box'o'laughs to Laverne. Give Hoagie your textbook and switch over to him. Go up to the 3rd floor and read the textbook to the horse. Steal his dentures when he falls asleep. Give the dentures to Laverne. Go into the kitchen and pick up the spaghetti and give them to Laverne and will now become the soggy noodles. Switch to Bernard and go into the kitchen. Pick up the fork and give it to Laverne. Use the box'o'laughs and dentures on the mummy. Give the spaghetti to the mummy and use the fork on the noodles. Talk to the judges and tell them to judge the best laugh, best smile, and best hair. Take the certificate to the Tentacle guard in the kennel. Flip the switch so the Edisons can leave. They will refuse. Switch over to Bernard and take the Boo Boo-B-Gone from the drawer in the office. Give this to Laverne. Switch to Hoagie and use Ned's bed. Then, use the squeaky matress with Jed's ben. Use the squeaky matress again and pick up the toy mouse. Give it to Laverne. Switch to Laverne and walk to the front of the former hotel where you will find a cat scratching it's back on the fence. Use the Boo Boo-B-Gone on the fence. Use the toy mouse and wou will recieve the stripey cat. Go down to the kennel and use the stripey cat. Switch to Bernard and go to the 3rd floor. Go in the door to the right and pick up the hamster. Go to the 2nd floor and open the machine. Shove the hamster in the ice machine and close it. Open the door to the left and shut it. Pick up the keys in the doorknob. Go out the front of the hotel and walk to the parking lot. You will find a man trying to break into a car. Give him the keys and you will get the crowbar. Go back to the lobby and use the crowbar with the wad of gum with a dime stuck in it. Use the gum to seperate them. Pick up the other dime in coin return slot in the broken pay phone. Return to the room witht the sleeping man, Use both dimes with the Ficklefingers coin slot and pick up the wet sweater. Fo to the hall and go to the kitchen. Go right, so you will be in the laundry room. Open the dryer and use the quarters with the coin slot. Switch to Laverne and go to the laundry room. Pick up the dry sweater. Go to the 2nd floor and pick up the frozen hamster. Take hiim to the kitchen and put him in the microwave. When he comes out use the sweater on the hamster. Go back to the room with the mummy, lava lamp, and Elvis lamp. Pick up the extension cord and walk to the Chron-O-John. Use the extension cord with the with the Chron-O-John and use the other end with the window. Go to the lobby and open the grandfather clock. Go inside and switch to Bernard. Go to the lobby and pick up the flier. Give the flier to Hoagie. Take Hoagie to the room with John Hancock, Thomas Edison, and George Washington. Put the flier in the suggestions box andd switch to Laverne. Use the extension cord with the hamster generator. Put the hamster on the generator. Use the vaccuum. cleaner on the mouse hole. Open the hatch and pick up the dust ball. Use the hamster with the generator. Switch to Hoagie and go to where the kitchen was. Pick up the oil on the cabinet. Go outside to the front of the hotel and take the letter from the mailbox. Give the letter to Bernard and switch to him. Go up to the 2nd floor and go in the middle door. Give the letter to Dwayne. When he leave, pick up the flag gun and go to the lobby. Walk through the double doors and switch the lighter gun with the flag gun. Ask the fat guy for a cigar. Then, open the grating to the left of the fireplace Try and pick up the chattering teeth. Keep trying until he gets caught in the grating. Pick him up. Give the cigar, lighter gun, and chattering teeth to Hoagie. Switch to Hoagie. Go in the room with George Washinton and give him the cigar. After his teeth fall out, give him the chattering teeth. Take the blanket and go up to the roof. Put the blanket on the chimney. Go down through the double doors and pick up the gold-plated quill pen. Go to the 2nd floor and into Ben Franklin's room. Pick up the bottle of wine and return through the double doors. Give the bottle of wine to Thomas Jefferson. Then, give the can opener to Laverne. Switch to Laverne and go in the room with all of the old stuff on the 2nd floor. Use the can opener with the time capsule and pick up the vinegar to Hoagie. Switch to Hoagie and go to the lobby. Open the grandfather clock and go to Red Edison's secret lab. Give Red the battery plans, oil, gold-plated quill pen, and the vinegar. Pick up the battery and switch to Bernard. Go to the lobby and take the help wanted sign from the window. Give the help wanted sign to Hoagie and switch back to him. Give the help wanted sign to Red and pick up the lab coat. Go to the kitchen and take the brush off the cabinet. Then, go to the 2nd floor and enter George Washington's room. Push his bed to mess it up and pull the cord. Leave his room and take the soap from her cart. Go down to the kitchen again and take the bucket. Use the bucket with the pump. Go outside to the dirty cart. Use the soap with the bucket of water. Then, use the brush with the sudsy water. Go to Ben Franklin's room and give him the lab coat. When he asks you to push the kite, put the battery in the pocket. Puch the kite when he asks you to. Remember to pick up the battery before you leave. Walk to the outhouses and use thefully-charged battery with the Chron-O-John. Switch to Bernard and go to the kitchen. Pick up the decaff coffee. Go to the secret lab and give the decaff coffee to Dr. Fred. Go to the 3rd floor and go in the door to the left. Switch to Hoagie and go to the secret lab. Pick up the left-handed hammer and go to the same room as Bernard is at. Give the left-handed hammer to the man carving the statue. Switch back to Bernard and push Nurse Edna. Go to Green Tentacle's toom and pick up the video cassette. Go back to the room where Nurse Edna was and use the VCR. Look at the monitor and switch to extended play. Push the record button. After it's done recording, push play. After it's done playing, go to the office. Open the safe and pick up the contract. Switch to Hoagie, give Bernard the red paint, and witch back. Go up the chimney and through the open window. Pick up the rope on Dr. Fred. Go through the window again and use the rope with the pulley. Go down the chiimney and to the front of the hotel. Use the rope with dead cousin Ted. Return to the roof again and pull the rope. Return to the roof again and go through the open window. Use the red paint with dead cousin Ted. Then, use dead cousin Ted with Dr. Fred. Use the rope with Dr. Fred. Go through the open window yet again and pull the rope. Go to the kitchen and pick up the regular coffee. Go to the laundry room and take the funnel from the cabinet. Return to the secret lab and use the funnel with Dr. Fred. Use the regular coffee with the funnel. Tell Dr. Fred you offered him and bribe and have him sign the contract. When you have it signed, go to the 2nd floor. Go take the disappearing ink from Dwayne's room and go to the 3rd floor. Go in the door to the right. Use the disappearing ink witht the stamp album. Pick up the stamp and stamp album. Go back to Weird Ed Edison's room and give him the stamp album. Use the stamp with the envelope. Give the envelope to Hoagie. Switch to Hoagie. Go to the front of the hotel. Go to the front of the hotel. Use the envelope with the mailbox. Switch to Bernard. Go to the office and pick up the swiss bank book. Go to the room with the sleeping man. Turn on the TV. After the salesman stops talking, use the telephone. Here comes another movie. Go to the 2nd floor and open Dwayne's door. When Purple Tentacle shrinks you, go into Dwayne's room. Go through the mouse hole. Wait until you are unshrunk. Pick up the bowling ball. Go down to Dr. Fred's secret lab. Use the bowling ball with the Purple Tentacles. Talk the old Purple Tentacle into shooting Dr. Fred. Guess what. You just beat the game!
