Cloaked in Darkness' Tale

I feel your thoughts wondering who is the one who calls himself Cloaked in Darkness....
The tale of myself is long and drawn. But then in this world that is bathed in Moonlight most tales are. So to begin my tale is neither evil nor macabre.
My true name is Antonio Dumas ,my Mother was an Italian Aristocrat ,my Father was a duke of Charlemagne France and here my tale begins....
I am one of many who inhabit the night. My nature to begin with was placid and fair but then things changed for me.
One evening as I walked in the moonlight amongst the trees in the family grotto..
A majestic female beckoned to me ,I found myself drawn to her, her eyes calling to me reaching into my soul ,the look on her face is forever etched upon my mind.
As she approached me the world stood still I felt frozen in that moment She reached out to me Embracing me ,She whispered her voice echoing in my mind promises of a life eternal to spend it with her such promises I wished to see and feel.
In that moment of extasy as she gently drank of me my body felt embraced as if in heaven. She offered me her wrist and asked me to feed on her life force the taste of her blood fueling my heart ,She looked down to me smiled and whispered welcome Childe.
There began my walk in the night.....

She fulfilled her promises to me ten fold over the following centuries and unveiled to me wonders I had never dreamt of....
What she hadnt told me was that the gift she gave me was a curse beyond most humans beliefs never to see the beauty of the sunlight again to see the flowers in bloom..
Then as i sat studying the movements of my next victim. A voice whispering on the wind calling to me.I left my victim to follow the voice...
Moving through the shadows I quickly slipped through the city. Before me stood a large house not unlike any other in the streets around us. The only difference was that the darkness seemed to envelope this abode..
The door stood ajar as I approached it opened in front of me, gathered around an ornate fireplace, its flames leaping up the chimney sat six people. Their backs to me they called to me "Please Antonio enter our abode for we have a task we wish of you..

They unfolded a tale far older than mine of a woman so diabolical that one was revilled by the very mention of her deeds... I asked them of their task they turned as one and replied "the task we wish of you is rather hard we wish you to kill your sire for she is the one we speak of".For this service they offered me untold power, they offered great respect from others of the Kindred race, and lastly the protection of their Coiterie...
I looked at them with a certain amount of disbelief, my mind reaching back to when I was Human before she bestowed me with her curse....

I didnt take to long to make a decision about killing her ,I thought to myself am i actually damning my sire to hell but we allready live that.So I convinced myself that I was releasing her from this torment....
The following night I began my hunt for her. It took me several days to locate her,but atlast I found her feeding on another unsuspecting victim. I whispered to her telling her I was near ,I approached her sliding my hand beneath my coat, I grasped the stake hidden within....
I plunged the stake into her heart ,then carried her body to the church steeple ,I bound her with chains and mancles of Silver, and left her for the sun to claim. There ended her time on this earth.....

Once again I found my life of Eternal Darkness changing..
The powers the Coiterie had promised I found came very quickly, but it was not as they had promised..
They were not of respect or trust but fuelled by fear others of the Kindred race always shunning me...
I made the desicion to enter Torpor I slept for what would have been a lifetime for humans but time meant nothing to me...
I made the decision at that moment of waking that I would dissappear from Vampyric Society , I would become Cloaked in Darkness. A Vampyric Rogue I am always there but rarely seen....
