Welcome to the
The Canton of Rimsholt is a local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) . It is located mundanely in the Grand Rapids, Michigan and Kent County area, but at times has been made up of people from as far east as Ionia County and as far west as the Lake Michigan shoreline. If you are new to the SCA and want to learn more about what the organization does click on the "What is the SCA" button below.
The Canton of Rimsholt started in the
year of 1981 (A.S. XV), becoming an Incipient Canton of Andelcrag in January of 1981 with
Lord Mathias the Hermit as Seneschal. This web site is an attempt to capture the history
of the Canton of Rimsholt, through the reports of it's officers, the articles that have
been published in it's newsletter (the Rimsholt Bolt), pictures of Canton members and in
the stories of those who were there.
The site is organized roughly by year, with separate areas for articles from the Bolt and stories and interviews. I am slowly filling in years as I can find information about them. As can be imagined there is sparse information for the early years. If you would like to help and have information about the Canton of Rimsholt check out the "Wants - Desires" button below. If you would like to see those good gentles who have helped so far check out the "Thanks & Kudos"

All officer listings are as of the Seneschal Domesday Reports or the last Bolt of the year, these are the Canton officers serving at this time. This should not be taken as an indication of length of service to Rimsholt.
