Listen Ye to a verse of old,
When maids were fair, and men were bold.
There were kings and lords,
And dragons and hordes,
And many a tale unfold.

There were castles and keeps,
And cows and sheep.
There were knights with swords,
And rooms without doors,
With many secrets to unfold.

Some kings were good,
Some kings were bad,
Though most tried to rule the land.
But one shines out o'er them all:
Arthur Pendragon, who through time e'en did fall.
