From the magestic vista point on Pride Rock, Simba watches this land with great reverence. He smiles gently and with pride - another day has dawned in the Pridelands....

This is a role playing site dedicated to the greatest Disney stories of all time: The Lion King and The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. If you are interested in joining the RPG, please read the rules below.

The biggest rule: No killing without a motive. Just because the character "is there" doesn't mean you have to kill him (or her). Other motives like jealousy, revenge, etc. are okay.

All original characters must be cleared with the Founding Members before they can be used. Just send an email with your character's description and stats... almost all applications are approved, so don't be afraid to create your own character!

Please, no fighting with other members, unless the fight is Role-playing based. If you are having problems with another member, please contact the RPG Founding Members and we will handle the problem ASAP.

It is easy to join the RPG, just send an email to cougarmint@yahoo.com, sign the guest book in the News Section, use the new on-line registration form, or post your charactor's stats and boigraphy in the Registration Center of the RPG forum. Be sure to include the character you want to play, your email address, and your first name and/or nickname.

Note: When creating your own charactor, please be sure you include a physical description, personality profile, and history of that charactor's life. Other wise, if the charactor you wish to play is found in the movie (for example, you want to play Rafiki,) just give us the name of the movie caractor and your first name or nickname. Please allow a few days for processing.

There are two options for the RPG. One is forum based, the other chat-based.

The Forum Based one is provided by EzBoard. See the TLK Links Section for a link to the forum.

The Chat Based ones have two options:

• Yahoo Messenger is the most commonly used messeger when I chat or role play. My Yahoo ID is Cougarmint.

• Cougarmint's Chat now provides an even easier way to Role play without the use of messenger services! Please see the note on the Chat Rules page for details.

Once you are registered and logged into the database, you can use either option to role play.
