Ok, this may take awhile but here is all about Trunks. The Future Trunks (Mirai Trunks) and his mother finally finished the time machine that he used to go to the past, save Goku from a heart disease and warm the Z fighters about the androids that plagged his Future. So he tells them 3 years ahead of time so they have awhile to perpare. He returns 3 years later to help the fighters and he does get killed by cell but is brought back to life by the DragonBalls.

Now that was Mirai Trunks who is much stronger and well mannered than the present Trunks. The Present Trunks is not as strong, and is kinda rude, spoiled, and always gets in trouble and pulling his best friend Goten for the ride. But I heard in GT Trunks turns into a nerd and is the owner of Capsule Corp! But I haven't seen GT yet so I have no clue!! Oh and he does spend some time with Pan in GT so they also become great friends but I doubt marrage between them.
