The Scarf - Little Raoul and little Christine at the seaside, after Raoul so bravely jumped into the sea to rescue her scarf. He's soaking wet and very pleased with himself, in a cute sailor costume. And I've never seen such a goofy grin. |

Mask Painting - Leopard-print masks! What will they think of
next? Erik, bored, decided to jazz up his boring, old, plain-white
masks with a little paint. It's rather silly, actually ... done in ink.

Shocked Christine - A rough pencil sketch. Christine's expression after she
tore off Erik's mask. It was supposed to be done in colour, but my box of
colour pencils mysteriously disappeared.

Angel of Music - Like all my colour pencil drawings, this
turned out rather fuzzy after being scanned. Christine singing, while Erik,
as the Angel of Music, takes her under his wing and guidance, handing her a
rose as a symbol of his love. Ink and colour pencil.

In the Operahouse Cafe - Raoul and Christine, all
lovey-dovey, sharing an ice-cream soda together ... while poor Erik,
forgotten and forlorn, mulls over a steaming cup of coffee ... Done in ink.

Composing by Candlelight - Erik working on his 'Don
Juan'. Done in ink.

Through the Mirror - Erik singing to Christine through the
mirror, done in ink and colour pencil ... once I scanned it, it looked
rather messy. It looks much, much better in reality, believe me.

The Doorway - Erik leans on the wall, watching the door
silently close and hearing Christine's footsteps steadily fade away ... done
in ink. Took me a week to finish.

Chandelier - Let the chandelier fall! This is the scene after
which Carlotta sings, when the chandelier falls. The *blank* look on
everyone's faces indicates the confusion and chaos of the situation. Either
that, or I was too lazy to draw faces. Done in ink.

Erik - My version of Erik, underneath the moon, holding unto a single rose. Done in black ink, except the single red rose. Larger version of sample image. |
