This muster roll is a complete list of men from the 1st Essex Regiment, 2nd Company. The source of the list is 1st and 2nd Regiment, Essex Militia – Regimental & Company Rolls, ca. 1812-14 Source: Library and Archives Canada/Microfilm Reel T-10388. Transcribed with permission of Library and Archives Canada.

The title of this document is "Musterly Returns of officers, non-commisioned officers and Privates composing the Flank companies of the 1st Regiment of Essex Militia who were out on service in the year 1812". The names have been transcribed as they were spelled without the accents in some cases. The remarks beside the names are as they appear on the film of the original list.
