Walkthrough Level Forest The Level Forest is where you first start the game. You talk to a man who tells you to go to Foresta and show the tree wither to Kaeli so she will help you. Foresta Foresta is the first town of the game here is where you meet Kaeli who is the first person to join you on your Quest. Level Forest (with Kaeli) When you go back to the level first look for the red tree and Kaeli will cut it down. Next you will have to fight the first boss of the game. This should be no problem. Also, the Level Forest is good place to stock up on heal and cure potions since they don't cost anything. After you beat the boss, Kaeli will go back to Forsta and you will have to get the Elixir from the Sand Temple to save her. Battle Field # 1 Remember to always fight in the Battlefields and you can always sleep in Foresta for free to heal your party. Sand Temple When you get to the sand temple, you find out that the Elixir is gone and a character named Tristam has it. He tries to sell the Elixir to you for way more than it's worth. You say no so he tells you you can have it if you help him look for treasure in the bone dungeon. Battle Field # 2 Fight in the 2nd battlefield and win the Charm Neckless. Bone Dungeon In the Bone Dungeon be sure to get the Steel Shield! Tristam will show you how to use bombs. The boss of the Bone Dungeon has the power of the Crystal of Earth. If you have been fighting every monster (recommended) you should have no problem beating the boss, and be on around level 9. When you beat the boss, you release the Earth Crystal and Tristam will give you the Elixir he promised you. You will get the First of the 4 coins of the Focus Tower...... the sand coin. Battle Field # 3 Fight all 10 battles and win 150 gp's. Battle Field # 4 Fight and win 99 exp. Foresta with the Elixir You return to Foresta and give the Elixir to Kaeli. She tells you to go to the Libra Temple and talk to Phoebe. Focus Tower Right now all you can do in the tower is get the Fire spell and open the first locked door. Libra Temple Here you meet Phoebe, the third person to help you out on your quest. Phoebe tells you about Aquaria being frozen and the people being sick. She also tells you how Spencer, her grandpa is stuck under the town. You ask her about Spencer and she joins you and you are off to Aquaria. Battle Field # 5 Fight and win 300 gp. Battle Field # 6 Fight and win a Magic Ring Aquaria When you get to Aquaria the water is frozen and you have to get the "Wake Water" from the spring of life. But a monster in the Wintery Cave stole the Libra Crest that warps you from the Libra temple to the Spring of Life. In this town, you can buy cure potions and bombs and sleep at the inn. Battle Field # 7 Fight and win 99 exp. Wintry Cave When you get to the Wintery Cave you should be on about level 12. When you get to a certain part of the cave, Phoebe will give you the cat claw and tell you how to use it. By the time you get to the boss, you will be on level 14 and the boss is the Squidite. When you beat him you, will get the crest. Battle Field # 8 Fight and win 600 gp. Libra temple / Life Temple Use the crest by standing on the sigh on the floor and it will take you to the Life Temple. At the Life Temple, you will find out that the water is dried up. Once again, you meet the funny old man and he gives you the last of the Wake Water. Aquaria with the Wake Water The Wake Water just isn't going to be enough to save the town from its ice prison. So you have to free the the Crystal of Water. Falls Basin Falls Basin is a maze where you have to push Ice blocks so you can jump on them. After you solve the puzzle you will get the Heal spell and learn to use the mega bomb. Battle Field # 9 Fight and win 540 exp. Ice Pyramid When you first go into the Dungeon, work your way to the right so you can get the Magic Mirror to see your enemies. Also make sure you get the Knight Sword. The boss is an Ice Golem. Aquria (back to normal) Now that the town is back to normal you can finally talk to Spencer. He tells you that you are the knight in the prophecy on a shield that Captain Mac found. In the town now you can buy a steel helm. Battle Field # 10 Fight and win the Exit Spell. Battle Field # 11 Fight all 10 battles and win 744 exp. Wintry Temple Can't do anything here now. Focus Tower (top part) You can get the Venus shield and move the statue so you can jump on it using the 2nd locked door. (Hint: Move the block next to the little stone thing sticking up out of the ground). Now go back to the bottom part of the Focus Tower and go through the locked door to Fireburg. Battle Field # 12 Win 900 gp. Battle Field # 13 Fight and win the Genini shield. Battle Field # 14 Fight and win 816 exp. Fireburg In Fireburg you can buy Seeds and a Battle Axe from a girl in one of the houses.(500 gp for the axe). Also, you can warp back to Aquara from here. You will get a new character in your party called Reuben. After you go to the house with the locked door, go back to the hotel and talk to Tristam and he will give you the Muti-Key to get into the house. Locked House When you get into the locked house, a guy tells you about a boulder that trapped Arion (Reuben's dad) and he tells you that only a Mega Grenade can free him. He shows you how to use the Mega Grensge. He also tells you about the abandoned mine. Battle Field # 15 Fight and win 1200 gp. Battle Field # 16 Fight and win the Thunder Spell. Mine By now you should be on around level 20. In the mine, get the Charm Claw. Make sure you explore pretty much everywhere so you don't miss the Claw. The boss is a Genji. FireBurg when Arion is home Talk to Arion and he will tell you where the Crystal of fire is. Battle Field # 17 Fight and win 1400 exp. Volcano You can get the White Magic Spell here. You should be on level 22 by now. The boss is Medusa. Lava Dome You can get the Life spell here, and the Moon Helm. By the time you get to the boss, you should be on about level 26. (Hint: Remember your new bombs can blow up rocks.) The boss is a Dualhead Hydra. Beat the boss and you will get the Sun coin. Battle Field # 18 (Hint: Use Magic like crazy on this battlefield) Fight and win 1068 exp. Focus Tower (Bottom part) Unlock the 3rd door and once again you will see the man on the cloud. You can get the Aero0 spell here now. Rope Bridge When you first enter the rope bridge, Reuben is attacked by a mummy and falls off the bridge. He tells you to keep going and he will catch up with you later. Then You run into Tristam again and he says he will help you and rejoins. Alive Forest Here you can get the Giant's Axe. There are three warp zones here that take you to get items. Try to talk to the tree and you find out that the tree doesn't like you and you need Kaeli back in your party to talk to the tree. Now it's back to Aquaria to get Kaeli. Aquaria to get Kaeli Back in Aquaria, Kaeli is asleep and Phoebe tells you to talk to Spencer. Spencer tells you he can't finish digging the tunnel to Captain Mac's Ship. He tells you about Otto in Windia and tells you to get help from him. Spencer, remembering that Tristam is a treasure hunter, tells him about some armor. He gives you the Dragon claw and leaves with Spencer. Phoebe comes into the tunnel and uses a bomb to try to get through the rest of the tunnel, but makes it collapse. Phoebe tells you to take care of Kaeli and she will tell Spencer about the tunnel. Go back into the town and Kaeli will rejoin the group. Alive Forest (Tree) with Kaeli Kaeli talks to the tree and it says you can pass if you beat the monsters inside of him. In the tree, get the Meteor spell. Battle Field # 19 Fight and win 2808 exp. Battle Field # 20 Fight and win 2700 gp. Windia Get the Cupid Locket from a girl in town. Talk to Otto and he tells you about how his daughter is trapped and about the Rainbow bridge. Mount Gale At Mount Gale, you can find the Apollo Helm. The boss is Dullahan, a headless horseman. Windia Talk to otto and he will tell you about Puzuzu's Tower. Puzuzu's Tower Save Otto's daughter and find the Flare spell. (Hint: don't forget to flip the switches with the Axe). You get Excalibur here, the best sword in the game. When you beat the boss you get the Sky Coin. Windia Talk to Otto again and you will meet Reuben again. He will rejoin you. Otto tells you to go to Fireburg and talk to Arion and get the Thunder Rock to fix the Bridge. Fireburg Talk to Arion and he will give you the Thunder Rock! Windia Give Otto the Thunder Rock and he will tell you that you can now go back into Spencer's place from here by using the bridge. Spencer's Place using the rainbow bridge Reuben uses a bomb to release Captain Mac's ship loose. You can also get the Mobius Crest here. Windia Go back here and use the Mobius Crest to enter Captain Mac's Ship, but first talk to Kaeli to get the Captain's Hat to give to him for her. (Hint: Use the Crest in the old man's house top right) Mac's Ship Here you can get the Gaias Armor. When you find Mac, you give him the hat and Kaeli comes running in to see her dad. Mac says he has some bad news about....the Dark King....Prophecy. Kaeli won't let him talk, so they leave. On the way back to Windia you meet Spencer and Tristam and Spencer tells you that Phoebe has been looking for him. Windia You meet Phoebe at the inn. She tells you that you need to talk to Captain Mac and she joins you again since Reuben is still hurt from the fall off that bridge (Hint: Mac is in the inn sleeping). Talk to Mac and he tells you about a lost part of the Prophecy.............. "The one behind the 4 is Darker than the night, and rises midst the land". He says the real enemy is the Dark King in the Focus Tower. He tells you to use his ship to go to the Cave at the Bottom of the Focus Tower. Focus Tower (Doom Castle) Here, you get the Aegis Shield. You also fight a stronger version of each of the 4 main bosses in the game. You have to beat one to go on to the next level of Doom Castle. The Last Boss IS the Dark King. By now, you should be on level 37! The best way to beat the Dark King is to have The Hero Cast Flare and have Phoebe cast cure on both of them and use the item "Seeds" when the Hero needs them.
