I woke up the next morning with the sun shining in my room. Laying there thinking of how long its been since I slept that good, I heard a light knock on my door. “Come in,” I told them.
Justin poked his head through the crack he made, “Hey, Chris and I are going to wake the other. Want to come?”
“Yeah, sure,” I jumped out of bed.
“Alright, come on,” he opened the door wider.
“Wait a minute, those doors are too loud if we want to wake them up we go through a different way. Come in, I’ll show you something.” When they were finally beside me, I kneeled down at the wooden floor and uncovered a trapdoor.
“Wow, I love this house,” Justin said excitingly.
“You won’t after 2 weeks.” After I said it, I wish I hadn’t.
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“Never mind,” I started to go down the old, wooden, cobweb infested steps. Justin toke one look at the steps and turned his back, “I’m not going.”
“Why?” I asked.
“There are cobwebs, where there is cobwebs there are spiders.”
“Your point?”
“I hate spiders.”
I threw up my arms and looked at him, “You are going to ruin Chris and I’s fun, for a couple of 8 legged insects?”
“Arachnids,” he corrected.
“Whatever.”
“Well…”
I grabbed his hand before he had time to finish. Chris followed behind Justin. The lights were just bright enough to light our path. “Justin, your hand is so cold.”
“I don’t have a hold of your hand.”
